So 50 bucks gets you 1 gun, one belt and one sensor. So youd need to get 2 of these so your kid can play with either a friend, or a sibling. And then you have to get batteries for both. The same cost of a Nintendo?
44 bucks for that laser tag set? That was alot of money back then. I remember the Knight Rider voice car with Michael Knight, and they were right at 30 to 32 bucks back then. Some toys back then weren't that cheap. But too, KITT talked when you pressed the license plate & came with Michael Knight.
Well, the chest sensor could be set up as a target for target practice if there was nobody around at the time to play with. But not having another kid in the neighborhood with Lazer Tag gear was not a problem for Lazer Tag players -- W.O.W. sold over a million sets in the first 3 months. It was the most successful toy launch in history up to that point IIRC.
