  • @007superlos (sigh) A looooong time ago, popping, locking, electric, robot, and all floor rocking was gradually accepted when everyone was "breakin'". Whenever people were break dancing in the boroughs or Long Island, when I was first watching and starting to practice around the early '80's, we called all of it break dancing. Maybe the people first originating popping didn't see that coming, but it was all offered when we were breaking. Nobody said "Wait! You can't pop here!".
