This is an incredible song taken to a masterful status with this artwork of arrangement you have done. I need to ask if it's your arrangement and if you have the score of these and if you can send or lend them? I REALLY liked a lot this version, from the very beginning to the end.
I wish i could send you a score of this arrangement which, yes, is mine. However i don't write my arrangements anymore on paper. Just record basic ideas when i feel inspiration "around" and develop/improvise later when i play it. I am also a painter, so, don't like to repeat exactly the same painting twice... Hope you understand. :o)
To students i recommend developing their ear, rather than reading only scores. That's the way i learn a lot from Brazilian music, and the way most Brazilian musicians do. That way you can day after day grasp much more subtlety that could ever be written in a score. If one really loves the music there will be no impatience or discouragement, only a good challenge to face. Nowadays there are devices that slow down the music, so.... All the best.
Superbe, vraiment superbe ! chapeau bas Monsieur Medam... Non seulement Barroso a réalisé cette superbe "peinture", mais vos "touches" personnelles en ont fait une véritable oeuvre d'art : bravo pour votre magnifique arrangement (et pour votre qualité de jeu, celà va sans dire !).
I really love this relaxed arrangement....subscribed!
