Just remember everybody that the FIRST people to ever sell land in New Zealand were Maori Chiefs, often selling huge tracts of land that they had captured from enemies anyway. Thats not to say the Crown ididn't take land, they did, but the first to actually make sales of land were the Maori themselves.
Now people say we shouldn't sell to foreigners... !!!!
