  • Inspiring and doable, thank you. :) I'm not a challenge person, either, but occasionally they spark something. I have an empty sketchbook and plan to try this, today. I've also subscribed and will check out your other videos. Great job! Thank you!

  • Doing something 21 times to create or break a habit is just a myth. I drew for 2 months straight a couple of months back and it never became a habit ... I stopped drawing.

  • is that a A4 or A3 book you use?

  • @lovelylass77- It is an 9"x12" Sketchbook Lovelass. It really does not matter what style it is.

  • You go, leftie! :3

  • i do that sometimes lol

  • The habit building element rather needs it to be done on 21 pretty much consecutive days though. If I do something 21 times rather sporadically, it's not much of a habit!=)

  • do you know how to turn old books into sketchbooks? I know...just draw in them. But what I want to know is if there is a way to remove the printing from the books? I tried bleach and apple cyder but all it did was turn the pages a little brown....not what I wanted. I usually turn the books upside down to draw in them and it work but I think it would be cool to be able to have blank pages.

  • @zekehooper have you tried painting over the text with white acrylic paint or gesso? That's what I use when I use old textbooks and such as sketchbooks, but the text does add something to the draws, I feel. It's up to you. Hope this helped.

  • @XComatoseButAudibleX Yea, I was told about the gesso from another person. I don't like how white it is so I am going to color it to look more like adobe or tan.

  • That was awesome! I sometime do that when I am reallly bored with out knowing it.

  • omg i love this.. thank you

  • the squares look like picture frames! lol!

  • Excellent! Thank you for sharing concrete ideas that will inspire us to do our own thing. I just joined your Ning group and hope to be accepted soon!

    Thank you for your generosity!

  • /i really like your attitude towards sketchbooks - I use mine for all sorts of things - including shopping lists at times. Great video

  • thank you thank you

  • I'm really looking forward to having a go at this, even though I have been day dreaming seeing picture in patterns on walls and carpet all my life but never knew it had a name and then pulling the picture out of the back ground in little tiny exercises brilliant.

Could you please tell me the name of the music in your video as I loved that too.
