  • You're a nut, Mr. Mike; I dig your schtick; your presentations are nice. Thank you for sharing this, and in such excellent quality.

  • i make love to my husband while this song plays

  • "Beyond the shadow of a doubt"......"About as sacred as a hymn." "As the meadow gayly plays..with the wind on summer days." "Do I love you?...must I always say?" "From a whisper... to a roar." "If in death...the good Lord is kind...You'll be the last thing on my mind." Just as amazing as the melody they were written to. Wow. Would love to know the orchestra, arranger, producer, engineer who worked on this. I've had this song in my head for years and years. "Do I love you? Yes in every way..."

  • oh and btw.. great job mike... impressive stuff you offer to those who can get it.

  • simply an awesome classic great song that was snubbed by the media and public for whatever reason not known.... this song deserves new life... maybe a duet with one of todays female starz... maybe Christina María Aguilera. or even Pink ... its a diamond waiting patiently in the ruff.

  • Beautiful truly is the word.

  • Thanks Mike :) What a beautiful song from Mr. Paul Anka! Great vid!

  • cool

  • I cant find paul ankas song "Nothing stronger then our love" i think thats the title, this is a 1st on youtube, theres usually every song on youtube lol..

  • What a great song.......peter

  • I just recently saw Paul Anka perform this beautiful song in Mohegan Sun. I being a little bit of a younger fan, had never heard it. It is now my favorite song of Mr. Anka's many hits. I have to play it at least once a day.

  • beautiful song ,beautiful video 5 stars

  • It misses it. It is glad.

    懐かしい! 嬉しい!

I live in Tokyo by the Japanese.

  • I have this song on the original Buddah label, and mine is a promo copy... but it is different from this version. I noticed that this was from a Canadian pressing. Could that be the difference? Both records are pretty much identical until you get about 2/3 of the way through. Does anybody know anything about this ?? Thanks.

  • heard this on oldies 1150 <3 best station ever, "rockin' ray michaels" will live on in spirit long after death!

  • As a recent discovery, I have to agree with rpetrics that this song expresses a love someone feels better than any song out there, and believe me, I think a lot of love songs express it well, but for some reason, this one is just more stronger. And I agree with minasmichelle, this should of done better than "Having My Baby".That was a particularly gross song.I've never heard this song until I stumbled upon it by accident.MM, you're the greatest for posting this.

  • Thanks much for posting this. Very nice images that match the lyrics. I agree 100% that it should have climbed much higher than it did. Thanks to you, newer generations can enjoy this beautiful song.

  • Do I Love You!

    Best regards,

  • Paul wrote and performed this song 1st but I think Peter Lemongello did the best version of this song

  • PAUL ANKA IS THE GREATEST!

  • the oldschool version is better from"jesusmrubio" the version is much better in my eyessss

  • you are so right mike. this song should have done much better ,even better than "your'e having my baby" very nice video, james

  • Wonderful song, beautifully written and performed. But I prefer the version by Donna Fargo... the way she is singing it is amazing... full of feelings.

  • What a beautiful song! 1971...I can picture this song being sung by The Partridge Family and becoming one of their hits! Seems that the American music public was not quite ready for Paul's United Artist comeback yet.

  • This music flows like a river of sweetness...unforgettable...

  • Thank you for sharing this with the world...this is my all time Paul Anka favorite song...I think of my recently departed love of twenty years and I shed tears as I sing to him..."Yes I love him in every way"...

    Bless you,

    Pan

  • I loved like this once... it's been nearly thirty years, but I still miss him. Maybe in the next lifetime...

  • WOW! How could anyone else express their love better than this song? I've been married to the same woman for 43 years and this song says it all for me. In death my wife will be the last thing on my mind God willing. Thanks Mike.

  • And the below "scared" should read "sacred"...how one letter misplaced changes things!

  • You are like me...you 'proofread' what you write. A great song like this can make us do that!

  • Terrific again, Mike! This is the ULTIMATE lovs song, with lyrics like "About as scared as a hymn...like a Bible full of prayers" and "Like a mother as she cares...for the baby that she bears", and my favorite, "If in death, the good Lord is kind, you'll be the last thing on my mind". What lyrics! THAT'S love, and Mike, you're right...this should have been a HUGE hit! Thanks for posting.

  • I recently dedicated this song for my aunt and uncle's 45th wedding anniversary. You are right 'garytvfan'...this song and it's lyrics are very special and the song should have been a bigger hit. If it weren't for Mike, I would never known about this 'gem'.

  • Wow! Thanks, Mike for sharing this inspiring great tune by Mr. Paul Anka. This is the first time I've ever heard it..

  • Very nice video presentation with this beautiful song. Like your work, MusicMike2!

  • My Baby just dedicated this song to me and I have tears streaming down my cheeks. I am so lucky to have someone love me so much. I am grateful every day for his love and if you have someone who loves you this much, make sure they know it.

  • i've learned from a friend that this song is nice so i checked it in youtube and i found out it's realy nice and beautiful song.thanks

  • beautiful song and Paul was a family man...todays recording artists do things to make themselves infamous, the more shocking the better they like it....sad

  • Thankyou for bringing all these wonderful old songs and the recording artists who performed them...God Bless

  • I love the way you present the song.

  • Great crisp audio on that track.

    That was mastered beautifully!

Good ol' Buddah records, home of

1910 Fruitgum Co and Melanie, etc.

  • A very beautiful compositon.. only for those who can appreciate fine music...

  • This is one of my favorite Paul Anka songs. He re-recorded this with his daughter, take a listen. It is a great re-make. Thanks for posting it.

  • Should have been more popular, for sure.

    marie

  • Might be my favorite Anka song. Great to hear it here.
