music fantastic: where can I get hold of this? ; cannot help thinking that nouvelle vague directors benefitted from ultra-cool background of little-known Paris, with an abundance of eminently filmable citroen 2cv's as a constant backdrop. Trouble with these films is that they make me want to start smoking again.
What you hear in this video is Miles, but sorry to say, folks, that it is not the original soundtrack!
The original soundtrack is a music written by Martial Solal played by Daniel Humair, Michel Hausser, Roger Guérin, Pierre Gossez , Martial Solal and Paul Rovere.
yeah, those of you wanting to see a movie where miles does a great jazz score, check out louis malle's 'Ascenseur pour l'échafaud'. but the soundtrack for 'a bout de souffle' is fantastic. very catchy too.
well, Albear just laughed, went off on 'un' as they say, lost it big time in the entente cordiale, never mind the cunt plied his trade in "French-fucked Algerie" as those of we who cowered from the mortar attacks in our coleective skimmpy bikinis and speedos never fail to remind that existent5ialist cunt fronm Algeria whenever youse see him,, yt
Quite franklyl, I'm quite simnply amazed at the casual attitude with which Mr Delmondo takes the life of, probably, a wife and mother! who deins to get in his free-thinking, nihilist way..!!!
I'm convinced that Mr Belmondo's death staggering through the lonely streets of Gay Paris, is the single, greatest indictment of French gunlaw since our own lovely Princess Lady Di of Spencer bit the big one so to speak in a lonely, badly-policed underpass in the banlieue of Madrid.
As I was discussing with President Sarki at our summit in Paris the other day, I'm convinced that what he repeatedly referred to as the 'nouvelle vague' will play no part in our impending talks concerning EU subsidies and.....oh God, I'm boring myself now....

Great mix. Captures the intelectual moment from Paris and probably from Europe at that time.
Gracias

Funny how the leads 'play' acting does not demolish the emotional power of the narrative
