This was a nice bottle. 92+ points for me. Maybe not the depth or intensity of some of his other bottlings, but really nice.
The Obsidion is my favorite bottling - the '05 is Amazing. Cali Syrah doesn't get much better.

Nicely done. Had a 2004 Pax Syrah Emerald Pool Alder Springs tonight and figured I would search here. This was over 16%. A little crazy and a bit much for food. Still tasty. I like Pax.
