  • uhm dr brandt is 70 something so he looks great its just his crazy hair and his products i love i have tries many and i just bought the laser tight i recomend you get a sample

  • @imcrazy85 I'm glad his products work for you!! ;-))

  • @kokolaro thank u

  • What will happen if your a young person and you keep using the shiseido benefiance products such as the balancing softener? The problem is I dont like the regular toners from Shiseido, they dont feel as high quality as the benefiance ones.

  • @nightrider2k6 Honestly I don't think it's a good idea for someone young to use anti aging products or products meant for mature skin. It's targeted to an age group for a reason. I'm no expert but if you start using it now when you're at the peak of your skins health it's probably not going to work for you when your skin does start to age which is really when you want the help. Not to mention the advance technology these days in skin care you don't want to mess around on a cellular level.

  • @nightrider2k6 good point u make, but your skin looks very young and your using it =), you don't have any wrinkles either so I don't really think it will hurt young skin, what would be the minimum age you think would be safe to use the benefiance toner? All i use is the benefiance toner, I dont use any other anti aging products. I tried the white lucent line and my face felt irritated and dry afterwards so i didn't like that line. Im going to ask shiseido to see what they say.

  • @nightrider2k6 I'm not an esthetician so I can't answer those questions for you. I only started using Benefiance when I was well into my 30's. I didn't go near it in my 20's or even early 30's not to mention Asian skin isn't really prone to wrinkles. Our issues is more with hyperpigmentation. My lack of wrinkles doesn't necessarily have to do with skin care and more with genetics and ethnicity. I'm sure Shiseido will answer any questions you have about their line better than I could

  • where do u buy the rose water mist? is this a time of toner u use?

  • @tringining26 On the Shea Terra website ;-D

  • @faffibo I don't really think it's important what I think....it's only important what you think. My advice is to always go with your gut.....it will never let you down ;-D

  • Hi,

I have a question for you is the Bioderma contain oil? Do you use it all over your face or just your eyes?

    Thanks

    Take care

    Audrey :0)~

  • @MyAuds Hey Audrey....It can be used all over the face if you want. I plan on doing a full review...hopefully you'll be able to check it out ;-D

  • Heyas and I am so glad you are back!

As always thanks for the video and if you could give a review after sufficient use, would appreciate reviews on these 2 items:

Shea Terra Rose Water & C Mist

    Androcco Mirage Hyperpigmentation Serum

  • @ChroniclesofChaos Thanks so much!! I was showing a lot of products I'd grabbed during my very long hiatus so I have used the Shea Terra for awhile and LOVE it....not sure I could say anymore about it than I already

did;-))) I didn't think the Androcco serum would work as soon as I got it and honestly it doesn't. To be fair I think it would be something you would have to use religiously for quite awhile to see results and frankly I'm not prepared to do it...very clumsy and awkward to use ;-(

  • Lol, so I turned my head to sneeze. Then hear you in the video saying 'uh oh! Uh oh' so I turn my head back to the video as fast as possible to see what was going on just to see you turn your head and sneeze. :P

  • @Starlightserenity Lol!! What are the chances! ;-P

  • love watching your videos, always so informative and you always seem so approachable. here's a great blog post from imabeautygeek . com explaining how micellar solutions work, you should definitely check it out (plus she's a fellow Cdn). Personally, the Vichy 3-in-1 is my HG but with all these raves about Bioderma, I think I will have to give it a try just to compare

  • @pnaiviv Thanks! I'll definitely check it out;-))

  • Thanks for the reply! I'll let you know if I try it. I know you love the Annabelle liners for your lower lash line. Does it stay on your waterline? I've tried the Milani and Prestige and still find they smudge. I'm in the US so don't have access to Annabelle but if I'm ever in Vancouver I'd like to buy them but only if you think they don't smudge. Every eyeliner I've tried smudges on me too! Thank you~

  • @samjaely No the Annabelle liners definitely smudge on the waterline, as they all do on me ;-(

  • I just re-bought the Shiseido Benefiance foaming cleanser and it's now in a new package. The smell has changed too :/ But it still cleanses wonderfully. I'm only 25 but I find that it does wonders for my skin. My mother uses it so she's the one that got me hooked. So far so good for the new style.

  • @jewelofthenile2142 Yes I heard that they have repackaged and reformulated the entire Benefiance line.....which is kinda good and bad. Relieved to hear the cleanser is still fantastic ;-D

  • Koko, can you give us an update on your derma roller?

  • @anneraven1 Unfortunately I will not be doing and update video and actually took down the original shortly after it was posted. I didn't feel comfortable with doing the research I felt one should be doing themselves so that they are aware of ALL the possible risks and benefits;-)

  • @kokolaroo Thanks for the response! Of course I completely understand and respect whatever you decide to do. I agree that any one person's word shouldn't be a replacement for diligent research. However, I just wanted to mention that I think personal stories from people I "know"/trust are hard to find online, and are a nice addition to other research that is out there.

Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to respond. I love your channel--so glad that you're back after your hiatus. :)

  • Koko, I looove you and your videos! I trust your reviews and opinions. Thank you for the effort.

  • @tmlovesjm aww thanks so much for watching! ;-D

  • @killingtimeonvenus Yes only do what you're comfortable doing....I will say that the Clarisonic is BRILLIANT! I'm not sure about their anti-aging system though. Good for you! Cutting out Alcohol and smoking will make a HUGE difference! I know when I quit smoking 5 or 6 yrs ago I saw a big improvement in my skin;-))

  • Hi Koko, Have you tried out the Shu Uemura gel eyeliner for the waterline? I remember blushingpixie recommended it and i'm wondering what you think about it. I'm still using the Smashbox for the waterline since nothing else stays on but I'm almost done with it and not sure what to try out next. Thank you!

  • @samjaely No I haven't. I was going to try the Shu because of what blushingpixie said but realized that I rarely if ever use gel liner (I'm a pencil girl) I still have 2 Smashbox ones and another asian brand that chefcaffy sent me (it was her most favorite) So I really couldn't justify buying another one and having it just sit there. Not to mention I really don't think I will find anything better than the Smashbox for the waterline. If you ever try the Shu you definitely have to let me know! ;-D

  • @killingtimeonvenus It sounds like you have hyper sensitive skin;-( Cream is just a delivery form. I think you may be talking about moisturizers. Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that is used for cellular turn over, collagen production and breaking up melasma in the deepest layer of the skin. It can cause a lot of irritation and dryness in the beginning until your skin acclimates to it but then the results are said to be amazing. It is NOT a moisturizer nor is it meant to hydrate ;-))

  • I would like to know more about your retinol treatments and any laser facials ?? thanks

  • I subscribed! very informative. thank you! I wanted to ask how old you are. I'm in my early 30s and i wanted to know how old you are so I could see how i can relate. Please send me a private message if necessary. thanks so much.

  • where do you get Bioderma? Is it from England? and has has to be shipped to the states ? (me=in the states ;) just wondering if you could share where you bought it from. tx. xo

  • @BellaSparkles1 I'm from Canada so I don't think I would be much help to you.....we pick it up at Rexalls or Murale here ;-)

  • I got a sample of When Hope is not Enough serum and im liking it. Im 30 have been trying to nail down my skin routine. I have dry to normal skin. Shea Terra Rose Water and Cmist, do you apply before applying serum/moisturizer?

  • @BellaSparkles1 Yes after cleansing and before everything else ;-)

  • ok this is not a comment but a question that has been driving me nuts. I think I went through almost all your of your videos looking for the answer and still no luck. A few months ago (probably about 6 now) you did a video where you were wearing a nude coloured sheer nailpolish by Deborah Lippmann that everyone loved and kept asking you about. Can you tell me the name of that colour, please, please, please if you remember.

  • @MsPrettyClaudia OMgosh I LOVE that color....it really doesn't look like anything much in the bottle but on the nails it is soooo chic! It's called a 'Whiter Shade of Pale'.......and thank-you so much for looking through the videos before asking and I'm sorry you had to do that....this one was easy;-DD

  • @kokolaroo Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! Thank you so much for replying. I didn't think I would ever figure it out. I am putting it on my To Buy list right now so I don't forget it again.

  • @MsPrettyClaudia Lol! I sure hope it wasn't limited edition or anything!

  • Bless you. :) What are you allergic to?

  • @Kushami17 My cats....Lol! ;-D

  • So I had to google Dr Brandt straight away, never having heard of him!

Now that is one strange looking man..........

  • @virtualspaniel VERY strange looking. I think it's a good thing that they don't have his picture on the packaging!

    ;-P

  • i got the dry red patches when I started using retin-a as well. la roche posay active c cream sorted it all out :)

  • @sonyafby ;-D

  • Can you tel me, please, a good eye cream? what do you use? ( I'm 30 years old) Thank you!

  • @Kallypsso hmmm I'm not sure what I use will work for you. I use 2 of the Shiseido eye creams....bio-performance in the day and benefiance at night....the latter may be too rich for a lot of people and could cause milia. I just prefer very heavy rich creams ;-)

  • @kokolaroo I have very dry skin too....thanks for the answer....

  • I thought the same thing the first time I saw Dr. Brandt's face! It definitely is a little off.

    Look out! Lip Balm throw-down!

  • @SillyBeesChickadees SO off! ;-P

  • Yes, I can't wait for the light at the end of the Retin-A tunnel! I'm using .025%. What about you? I'm also looking forward to your Argan oil review. The Josie Maran is sooo pricey. Hope you can recommend something less expensive. When you do the Sensibio review, can you please talk about whether is good for waterproof mascara? Thanks for your hard work!

  • @samjaely Yes I'm on the same;-) I will definitely be checking to see if it removes mascara....it has to or what's the point really. Fingers crossed! ;-D

  • I've been using the Benefiance cleansing foam too at night. I haven't tried the softener though I worry it would be too much for me. I tried that Dr. Brandt collagen serum and noticed my skin was smoother/tighter but then it scared me so I stopped lol...don't think I'm ready for that much of a change yet. Anyways, it worked for me. <3

  • @blushingpixie They have another softener that isn't enriched that's also fantastic but I know that you're not that into toners....although I don't know if it would be classified as one. It definitely makes your skin super soft ;-) Omgosh girl you're about a decade away from needing the collagen serum. I didn't notice anything that dramatic but I'm so glad to hear that it may actually work!! Muwah! xoxo

  • LOL i went to check out how dr. brandt looked like after this video :P

  • @lullabysea ;-P

  • @hameepy aww thanks so much for watching! I'm certainly not sweet all the time....Lol!.....seriously.

  • You look like an angel, just gorgeous! Cant wait for your Argan oil vid. Ooh you sneezed! Bless you love! xxG

  • @LovePeaceandLipGloss aww thanks honey buns!! You're too sweet....yes a red faced, flaky, patchy angel. "Lighting is your friend" xx

  • I am interested in a review on Bioderma

  • @ablondee Will definitely do one...thanks for asking! ;-D

  • btw, you actually look glowy, like a little sun exposure, is that the redness you are referring to? Very subtle, looks nice, but yes I bet it does not feel it, hang in there though!

  • @maremade0 Lord my bathroom lighting works miracles! My face in the vid is a red, flaky, patchy mess! As usual I just went gung-ho even though I have the worlds most sensitive skin!! I swear it all turned a decade ago.....I've heard the results are amazing so I'm definitely going to stick with it to see what's at the end of the rainbow;-)

  • Oh lordy, Dr. Brandt scary, know what you mean,yikes...gotta love the feel of toners/softeners, the Shiseido ones smell so nice I recall. Ever use their Honey Cake glycerin soaps?, soooo nice. Well rounded haul girl!!! oh ya, loving my supernova mascara!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ox

  • @maremade0 Yeah that is some freaky lookin face! No I've never tried the soap. I'm so set in my ways....I can't use anything other than a foam. I Have tried but it just feels weird ;-P Yayyyy!!! I'm so glad you're digging Supernova!!! That's so awesome cos I was so puzzled that there wasn't any kind of buzz about it. Thought maybe it's just me with my own quirk but woohoo "we got confirmation" ;-D

  • @kokolaroo I just had to pipe in! Exactly! Where IS all the buzz? I had the mascara set from Sephora and Supernova totally surprised me! I don't know if it was the packaging, or what, but I didn't really take it seriously until that swoop of the first application. I had the same reactions that you had with Laura Mercier. I took pictures of all the mascaras on my upper lashes. I plan to do a blogpost about it soon. It was a fun experiment!

  • @SillyBeesChickadees I am definitely going to have to get the word out!!...again ..lol! Yes the Laura Mercier was so disappointing. Probably the first thing I've come across in her line that was truly crappy.....yes it was a fun experiment! ;-D

  • Koko, where did you pick up the Shea Terra Rose Water & C Mist?

If you purchased it off their website how much was the shipping to Canada?

    Great haul!

I love your hauls the best because of the anti-aging products.

I'm "maturing" too but not in certain ways. LOL

  • @spaceystacey100 I did purchase through their website and as I mentioned in one of my other videos about the company.... they charge you for exact shipping so you get billed when they go to the post office. It's something that I really respect in a business, so it always feels good to support that ;-D

  • I noticed that your hair on both sides curves to one side. Did you curl that urself or is that natural? If it's natural than I have the same problem! My hair does the same thing as well, even if i use a straightener and curve it both inwards to my face, one side always goes back and curves the other way. I don't know wat it is caused from! haha

  • @raininghard My hair definitely has "licks" all over the place but I kinda like that ;-D

  • aveda's lipsaver is the best lip balm ever! i also tried the claudalie wasnt impressed one bit.

  • @littlemax1 Yes I was very disappointed with the Caudalie;-(

  • have u heard that shiseido is relaunching the entire beneficance basic care line in March? better packaging, fragrance, and ingredients!

  • @heygracee No I haven't....hopefully I'll still like it. I have stopped using so many products after they reformulate.

I wish they would just leave a good thing alone! ;-)

  • @kokolaroo yea. i get freaked out when my stable products get reformulated too! i believe the new softener contains alcohol. maybe u should stock up. lol.

  • @heygracee I tried doing some research on it and I haven't seen or heard a single thing! Where abouts did you come across it ;-).....I can't believe they would put alcohol in it! It's meant for dry maturing skin....sigh....

  • @kokolaroo i work for shiseido so i learned about the new products at its spring seminar. heehee. there is also a new sunblock that's going to come out, called urban environment. i like that one a lot!

  • @heygracee Well you would definitely know! ..Lol! Have you heard whether or not they are going to bring back the original Mascara Base? Why oh why did they reformulate that!! Everyone I've spoken to does not like the new one!

  • @kokolaroo hmmm there is no mascara base coming out in the spring. im guessing they r keeping the reformulated one for now, don't know about it in the long run tho.

  • @heygracee Thanks for letting me know ;-)

  • @kokolaroo I just checked and it looks like the new ben is out on macys, nordstrom, and sephora :)

  • @heygracee aww thanks so much for checking....I don't think they've completely launched here as I just purchased the Ben products last week ....I may have to stock up ;-)

  • @kokolaroo Tretinoin is simply the most studied retinoid in the treatment of photo-aging (and therefore the most widely prescribed). My skin is normal/dry; for me, the best I've used thus far has been that which I'm currently using: Atralin. It contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin & collagen. The formula seems to agree w/my skin and affords me the greatest benefit w/the least discomfort (all things considered). I have a dermatologist in my fam so I'm admittedly a bit skincare-obsessive! hehe :-)

  • @visceralanding ooh Atralin sound right up my alley! I'll have to mention it to my derm the next time I see her.

Thanks so much for responding.....lucky you to have a derm in the family! ;-D

  • @kokolaroo Yes, definitely do ask her about it! Prior to that I had been using Renova (for about 14 months before switching). Renova is nice too, but the reason I much prefer Atralin is because it's 'stronger' (more effective) and yet has those added emollients which soothe and nourish my skin while it does its business. Basically, Atralin has a lower irritation profile coupled w/higher efficacy. (Also it is fragrance free while the Renova is not; maybe not a huge deal but just fyi.)

  • @visceralanding I've heard of Renova and wanted to get it but my derm prescribed something else instead...thought it would be better for me. Sounds like I may have to wait until I acclimate before trying Atralin as you mentioned it's stronger. My skin has turned SUPER sensitive in the last 10 yrs so I have to remember to take it slow......which is totally not in my personality to do! Lol! ;-D

  • @kokolaroo haha, I'm the same way! But definitely wise to take it slowly. As any (good) derm will advise when it comes to tretinoin, more (quantity) & higher potency does NOT equal better/quicker results – and will in fact cause a slew of undesirable effects. It's truly best to do it gradually and on a longterm basis, as you are doing. You are going to be so pleased w/what you observe in terms of your complexion (tone, texture, brightness) over the coming months. I'm excited for you! :-)

  • @visceralanding I'm super excited too!! ;-D

  • God bless you, at 09:30! :D

  • @mimzy84 Lol! Thanks ;-D

  • When you mentioned about Dr.Brandt, I paused the video and went to look up a picture to see what you were talking about and I just cracked up because what you said is SO TRUE!!! Hahaha!

  • @raininghard Isn't it though! ;-D

  • LOL i couldnt resist googling for Dr Brandt and i totally get you lol ;D

  • @laojace uhm....can you say.....freaky ;-P

  • u should do more haul vids! i love them !haha

  • @allaboutdaniel Lol! I have fun watching them too!......but gurl I'm not a shop til you drop kinda gal ;-P

  • what nailpolish are you wearing in this video? it it GORGEOUS, but I have noticed, you always pick the most fab colors for your nails :) great to see your videos again, have a lovely weekend!!

  • @lolilol1001 Thanks! It's Revlon's No Shrinking Violet ;-)

  • Great as always!!!

    Thank you Koko!

Love to see you, it's like a visit from a friend!

  • @Beecozz7 aww thanks for your post! ;-D

  • I get what you are saying. No worries. I was curious about it because you had mentioned it. I wanted to follow someone who had been doing it so I could see the progression....but no one really talks about it. I understand where you are coming from. It sets you up to get bombarded w/questions and things. Appreciate the honesty. :-)

  • LOL, what you said about dr. brandt. and the way you said it, crakajaka, LOL!!!

  • @donnashorts1 ;-P

  • LOL!! "Holy Cracka' Jacka'" That is so funny! I have similar skin type as you. I started on Retin-A several months ago and used it only 3x /week. I washed it off after 15 min. because of irritaion. Now my skin tolerates it better. I love the Shiseido Benefiance line too. Been using it off and on for 20 years!

  • @samjaely Yes I always came back to Shiseido so I figured I might as well stick with it and 20 or more years later it's still a staple.....I hear that if you don't give up and go through the whole dry/ flaky/ red/ irritated phase it's well worth it....I guess we'll see ;-D

  • I've been using Tretinoin for a few years, and I LOVE it. I had bad acne for 10 years, and I finally saw a dermatologist a few years ago. I was prescribed multiple things, and nothing really worked well until I tried this. It does dry your skin out, but I need that because my skin is comb/oily. We have completely opposite skin types, so I hope it works for you too!

  • @EyeWearMakeup Yes it's largely used for treating acne but is also considered one of the best anti aging products. Fingers crossed! ;-D

  • You are back!!! Yey! You always turn me into a shopaholic hehehe

  • @nilmarien ;-D

  • I agree about the Shiseido, I love their line in the turquoise packaging, esp the cleansing water. I've often thought, honestly now, "Gosh that Shiseido was good, I should get some more" but never got round to it. You know, when there's no physical stockist nearby you just forget so many things. I wish I had your bathroom cabinet! Just google imaged Dr Brandt, oh my! Thats one strange looking dude lol. Freaks me out, imagine coming round from the anaesthetic to see his face looming over you.

  • @daisynation So true! That would be a rude awakening! I can't imagine it would be hard to find Shiseido...it's in every department store and of course a lot of Shoppers carry it ;-)))

  • @kokolaroo It's quite hard to get in the UK. Sephora used to carry it, but then they left the UK. It's deff not a regular feature in British dept stores. Thanks anyway Koko! : )

  • @daisynation ah nutz! Well there are quite a few places that you can order online from if that helps;-)))

  • Haha...you are hilarious....I agree with you about Dr. Brandt...something is def. off.:D

  • @mrdizzybubbles SO wrong!

  • Thank you for the response! I hate anything for te lips in a pot. I always want to wash my hand before I put it on an I have no patiences for a lip brush. Really nice to see videos from you again.

  • Yay, a video from you! I would love to hear more of your thoughts on the Shea Terra C mist. I have actually tried it and it burned my face like a mofo! What the heck, I don't even have sensitive skin. I'm wondering if it interacted with something else I was using at the time or if there was something wrong with it.

  • @JIovannone Hmm it could have been an interaction with something or perhaps you're just not used to Vit C. I've been using it for 5 or 6 years now so I don't get a reaction to it anymore but if you haven't it's very common to feel a lot of burning and stinging until your skin gets used to it ;-))

  • You just crack me up!!! HA @ throwing down the gauntlet! I'd love to hear more about yoru experience with tretinoin (retin a). I'm super scared of the bad flakeys!!! Glad to see you, again! oh and yes, once I run low on my philosophy (no sense in wasting) I'm going for the white lucent.

  • @ginabinawina99 Hey gurl! Yes I will definitely be doing and update on the tretinoin! You will definitely have flaky, red irritated skin but it's only for the first while or so and if it gets too much just use it every 3 or 4 days or leave it on for 5 mins and rinse it off....I hear the results are amazing once you finally acclimate. Excited to see if that's true!! You definitely have to let me know if you dig the White Lucent! xx

  • Thanks a lot I am really interested in the Androcco Mirage Hyperpigmentation Serum! I am going to google to where I can find it.

  • @kkimberly2004 Well I wouldn't be too excited....like I said, I used it for a little bit but didn't see any difference. If I did I certainly would have continued using it even though it's a bit of a pain ;-))

  • @Lokestanator Thanks so much for watching! ;-D

  • KoKo, you always manage to make my day (like for real) i'm at minute 3:59 and I had to pause to write a comment, Not even about your haul (which I absolutely love those) but you seem like a very cool person and I dont know if you have kids, but if you do, I bet they say you are the coolest mom ever! Your laugh gets me every time and I thought you should know that...now back to finish watching you :o)

  • @Lindah7 aww thanks so much for the kind words!! I have 3 fur babies but I'm not sure if they would think I'm "cool"...Lol! ;-D

  • Great video! I love hearing about your skincare recommendations! :)

  • @dempss01 ;-D

  • @sweetylove1307 Lol!! ...uhm....helloo?

  • @a7201yun So glad to hear you found something that works and eases the dry skin. Let me know if you ever get to try Shiseido. You should go to Sephora so that you can try tons of samples first ;-D

  • @GinaHotPants Oh I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying the Shiseido!! As I always say about the Dr. H rose day cream. You should try it ONLY if your skin is very, very dry and you like VERY heavy rich creams. If not I'd stay away ;-D

  • @HummingBirdBeauty aww thanks hon! Yes I can't wait to test out the Bioderma ;-D

  • I have thought the same thing about Dr. Brandt!

  • @erin0723 Freaky right? ;-P

  • do u think i can use the mirge serum for evening out my skin tone and brighteneing and can u tell me where i can buy it from .i love ur videos

  • @michman27 I really can't say that it works....I tried it for awhile but didn't see any difference. I got it online at androcco ;-D

  • Welcome back Koko!!! I missed you. I bought the Shiseido cleanser and softener and the eye cream based on your previous videos and I love these products so far. What eyeshadow colors are you wearing on your eyes in this video and what type of eyeliner?

  • @Manizgirl22 Yay I'm so glad! I'm wearing Nars Brousse and the Armani liner in 12 ;-D

  • Welcome back! Everything I have tried based on your request (blowdryer, cleanser , etc) has been great for me. I am happy to see that I already use some of the items you mentioned today, I 'm catching on! Thanks again!

  • @canonflip Yay I'm so glad to hear that!! Thanks so much for letting me know! ;-D

  • I was just telling my friend that after a round of exams, I really wanted to relax and watch something on youtube or hulu. And lo and behold, you uploaded a video!! I'm so excited...this must be a good omen about my exam today =) I am looking forward to your argan oil review as I'm currently using the Josie Maran argan one, but would love to hear about other options, too. I'd be interested in a bioderma review - I've been wanting it, but am indecisive due to the shipping costs to the US.

  • @minidelinquent Fingers crossed on your exam! It may take awhile to do the Argan oil video but I will definitely be doing it! Hmmm it must be available in the states too! Maybe do a YT search for it and then see if there's anyone in the US that has gotten it and ask them where? Good luck! ;-D

  • Hahaha! I just googled Dr Brandt :S.

Totally with you on the hydroquinone, I just had an argument/debate with some American/Vietnamese girl on youtube about it the other day. It's a horrendous chemical, I remember seeing this woman on a daytime show who'd disfigured through use of it (aside from the cancer risks etc). It's nice to hear from you Koko xx :)

  • @katanaxou I'm sure it was quite the shock when his picture popped up ;-P Yes I sure hope it gets banned in North America soon ;-D

  • i have really dry skin too.. do you know any good oil based foundations and what do you think of clinique

  • @tokyodoru hmmm I really don't know anything about oil based foundations. I only like to own 1 foundation per medium, so one liquid, one cream, one stick, so I only own 4 as for Clinique....I actually don't own a single product from them. I've banned them for the last 20 yrs lol ;-D

  • Where did you get Shea Terra in Canada?

  • @kimsan16 I ordered off their website ;-D

  • haha, Koko, thank you for mentioning Dr. Brandt's face! I wanted to try his products but then saw his face on the packages, Gosh, bad advertising!

  • @oshinsr I totally hear you....it really is a turn off! ;-D

  • You're hysterical!! I love your videos. I'm still loving the NYC blushes thanks to you.

  • @2eyeluvmac2 Yay I'm so glad!! Thank-you! ;-D

  • U shuld ask Tammi (uppiesbeads59 she was a Sheseido rep.) about the softener. She said that Sheseido was the 1st to hv a toner-type product 30 yrs ago.

Fun haul! Luv seeing the Sheseido stuff. It sux that YTubers feel like they have to justify hauls... :( I love watching them and I love it when ppl talk about new products they find or why they like something. It sux that ppl put that down and then YTubers feel like they can't share things. argh. Thanx for your vid! Always good to see u!

  • @aimesbegonia Thanks for the tip;-))) As far as hauls go, I'm not sure what other YTubers do but for me I'm just not about constantly buying and consuming. In fact if I do a bit too much shopping I actually start to feel empty inside and I don't want my channel to perpetuate a constant state of needing and wanting. But that's just me. I fully support everyone's right to shop til they drop ;-D

  • could you do a video on retinol and retina? I hear lots of ppl talking about it, but never show the products used.. thanks x

  • @WaterDreaminOphelia I will be doing an update once I've been on it for long enough to see the results which could take up to 6 months ;-D

  • Hello Koko! Was wondering if you were still microneedling and how that is working out for you? What length needles do you use and how often do you do it? Also, do you apply any serum or skincare right after? Please, I would love to hear about it if you are still doing it. If not, please say why you stopped? Thank you!

  • @123cetaphil I actually took the original video down shortly afterwards....there is just waaayyyy too much information on it and I wasn't comfortable doing the research for others. It really is something you have to look into yourself just so that you're fully informed about all the possible risks and differing opinions on the subject ;-D

  • i am so happy to see you and blushingpixie back you ladies are fabulous ...oh love love that nail polish :)

  • @crisdj1974 I LOVE blushingpixie!!! She's one of my all time faves..SO gorgeous! Thank-you, it's Revlon's No Shrinking Violet ;-D

  • they dont have anabelle in the us right ? not online either ?

  • I feel the same way about the Balancing Softener. Love it. Makes my moisturizer work so much better. And I just started tretinoin too. . . peeling and feels like someone has a blow torch to my face sometimes. . . . I'm "maturing" too. . .

  • @randomness1999 Yes but the results I'm sure will be worth it and the irritation is just in the beginning ;-D

  • With rapid lash, how are you suppose to put the serum on? The lashes or the area you put eyeliner on? I used a tube trying either way and it's not doing much for me at all and my eyes just go red sometimes :(

    I like your reviews :)

  • @Ideqist I run the brush along my lash line. From what I've heard there are many lash products that work for 90% of the population but there's a small demographic of people that it just won't work for;-( If it's irritating I would stop using it.....they are your eyes after all and you want to take good care of them ;-D
