  • This video is great! “Follow your bliss” is one of my favorite quotes. It is so motivating! I first heard it in the film Finding Joe, based off of Joseph Campbell’s works. It is a documentary that interviews many respectable people asking about how they were motivated through Campbell to “follow their bliss” in their own lives. It was such an inspirational film! bitly . com / tke 38 E? r=b b

  • HOW do i separate 'follow bliss' from ego demands (earn money)

  • how to express the inexpressible... I am not sure we can control when these moments will come. I guess the real trick is to have these when life is kicking you in the ass... I have always said everyone is the buddha on a vacation!! I want to feel these moments in a traffic jam when the guy I just cut in front of is giving me the finger (lol).

  • Thank You For Making The Video For Me! I love meing reminded by you that relaxed joy ie bliss brings more relaxed joy. I give you a gift now! Remember to tell your face that you heppy. Your heart is in perfection, however it forgot to tell your face :) let the heart energy gieser to you face knows it and we see it too. I understand the bliss needs no smile. Many People Do Need The Smile Though. GREAT VIDEO, thank you for your sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One thing that must be said is that the fates will decide if the hero's 'bliss' is worthy of the hero's trait.

Stories such as Icarus show that if you follow your bliss, but are too infantile, too eager, and not in line with the ordainment of the great gift, then your dream will be shortlived or not take its full flight.

Following your bliss can be a dangerous pursuit. That is why all the great spiritual leaders have been humble men.

  • I go along with the sentiment of this 100%. My only problem is how do I remember to do this on a daily basis. If I'm in the car or at work and something is annoying me and I go home and dwell on things, how do I remember something like this? Should I get a tattoo? :)

  • I guess it's a balance of not being affected by these mundane everyday things and yet also taking them as serious in their own right.

    That's the two worlds.

  • follow your bliss, bitch.

  • you made me laugh :)

  • This is absolutely true when you breakthrough like this, you find that inner bliss, its all true, it feels amazing!

  • great video.

  • I really enjoy watching your videos. I wish I lived in the US and we could meet up.....

  • thanks, looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts

  • "Follow your bliss" is one of those immortal sayings, like a key to life. A similar one, which I also love, is Buddha's quote, "Your work is to find your work and then with all your heart give yourself to it."

I really appreciate these videos LivingSuccess has been posting, there is a lot of great content in them. They are a refreshing change from a lot of the less-conscious YouTube stuff.

  • The interesting thing is, I think we can only trully find our finite purpose when we have experienced the infinite, ie Nirvana.

You can then fire your finite purpose with the infinite ideal that underpins it. I believe that is the secret behind the linking of the two worlds.

So MLK's dream and vision of nirvana/heaven was of black and white kids playing together in a park. He then put finite action in, but all fired by this universal spirit.

Thanks for the buddha quote. It's a corker.

  • i was sitting down one watching some cartoon.. and i forgot what was happening in the cartoon and it felt like my mind sliped away, my mind was like separated from my body.. and i could see out of a little circle that was clear and everything else around it was everything that was there but it was all blurred except for that circle and i looked at my hands and i saw them shaking they werent moving i didnt feel them moving they were shaking and they were fuzzy and it was amazing

  • If we can still the whirlpools of emotions and thoughts with which we are usually identified, we can sometimes get a glimpse of our true self behind these things. We are not our bodies. We are not our feelings. We are not our thoughts. These are simply tools of expression for our true Self. You have had many such tools in the past and you will have many more in the future.

  • how can i do that?

  • This can be done through the practice of meditation. Real meditation is a form of yoga. Through this sort of meditation one can eventually learn to calm the body, emotion and mind. Once they become still, like a clear calm lake, the light of the true self can then be seen reflected there. If you would really like to learn more about this, I will help in any way I can. I really need to start a forum to compliment my channel here for more in depth discussion and written content. Best wishes.

  • Hey Blake :)

Yeah it is a great great feeling when you start feeling the interconnectedness of all things, when this happens you can't help but feel love for everything...i love this feeling, there simply are no words to fully describe it...

    Wise words my friend :)

    Peace & Love

    Pete

  • Ahhhh yes...welcome to the evolution! :-) The "shift" of consciousness is occuring...I can feel it...:-) These feelings will continue to increase as the flow of energy and consciousness continues to speed up and you stay connected to it. We all are waking up to it now...it is time!

  • Hey man, I get those feelings a lot. I think it's called Kundalini Rising when you get a physical sense of euphoria as well as spiritual. Now that's a great thing to happen! May you have many more blissful experiences!! Dan =:D

  • If only we all could close our eyes and have that happen for us, we would all be alot less stressed! Congrats to you :} delaney xxxxx

  • I will send you a personal message what I think!

  • That is very interesting thank you for sharing this experience of yours with me! I have had similar feelings over the years but never frequently enough to "follow" them I suppose.

  • I have to admit that I am probably downplaying how often I slip into these periods of blissful consciousness. I used to only get them during meditation. Then they started happening here and there during a normal day. At this point, I think that I can voluntarily get to that consciousness by closing my eyes and focusing into this "letting go".

  • Sounds like a pretty awesome feeling.

  • It really is. A big part of why I have started to post videos to YouTube has to do with trying to figure out how I might be able to help others to find such feelings within themselves.

  • great vid, I have actually had one of those feelings you are describing a few times in my life, but mine were much much shorter, like 5 seconds. I didnt exhale, I just started feeling very happy very loving towards everyone and self-fullfilled so to speak, but when it passed, I felt the same as did before

I have no idea where that sudden rush of joy came from

  • I have been having these blissful spells for some years now. They seem to be increasing in both frequency and length. It was actually a way more profound experience than I could put into words, but I thought I would try to share anyway. :)
