Stay away from these cars 2006-2010 - they are prone to rusting early and the 6 speed automatic transmissions are faulty and start to give out around 50 - 60 thousand miles. I have one still under warranty and Ford won't cover it because they said the tranny problem is due to rusting transmission cooler lines. Nice cop out. The rust isn't right through the metal so they won't cover it. Common places for rust are above the passenger windshield and rear left licence plate area.
@thestud682 it redlines cause the engine is free rev-ving and a close ratio 6 speed auto keeps it in the power zone when ts rugged!!!! test drve a V6 ull know what i mean
@Lumryan , good luck :) They certainly dont come cheap! I finished college just a few years ago and am far from ever affording one brand new. The 5-series, as great sedans as they are, are beyond overpriced. Mine was bought certified pre-owned. CPO is definetely the far better value.
The 0-60 isn't knockout but it is very quick! It's so torquey too!
It would be a whole lot faster if they would take the factory restrictions off... They don't even redline. I think it has something to do with the variable cylinder management.
I got a New Accord since then, and don't get me wrong....It's faster & More Luxurious on the inside;
But the Fusion is really a car of its own. It's more fun to drive if you ask me...and It changes gears really smooth, rides firm, and handles well. All under 27k.
The fusion gives competition a run for its money with its prices.
You should check out the new 2010 Fusion inside :). Especially the SEL and the Sport which is as fast as the Accord. I just traded my dreaded 09" Camry for a Fusion SEL V6, it's 19 hp up from the model you had and it kicks pretty hard. What's the MPG in your accord? That's going to likely be my wife's next car.
wtf are you talking about "it's not floored?" It's an automatic transmission shifting at redline...your foots on the floor or else it would be shifting at 5000rpm etc. Why people actually lie on youtube to make themselves look better must be a dominant trait in idiots.
Your so freakin stupid! its not floored for like the first 2 seconds of acceleration! Otherwise it would spin like hell & torque steer is a bitch in this car! Duh I had it floored before I left 1st gear...Just not the very beginning!

The more Its driven, the better mpg..
right now its at 30. Which is better than my 2002 EX-L 4-Cyl.
