After this film James bond had to meet them, so "You only live Twice" was made. I thought the work was split up differentley as the men was tending and sailing the boats as well as preparing tee for the woman and helping carying the boats in on land. the last part of this video was quit a shock. but i gues customs wary in diferent parts of Japan.
Now you see what you get for being skinny and not have big boobs to balance out the waves? Oh yeah, all the work for a day catch all gone, swept away....
I didn't even aware they didn't censor the nakedness.
Oh yeah, those were the days...the women do the work while the man supervise...that what I called culture. Such a noble trade of a fisherman. Ahahahahaha.
@musiclover3369 That's not strictly the rule. Much like nudity in school textbooks or National Geographic, if it is primarily documentative and not overly exploitative in nature, community guidelines will allow it.
Now, someone could talk up a storm whether Mondo movies in general fall under 'exploitation' or 'documentary', but, aside from the TOTALLY sexist commentary, I don't this example exploitative. The toplessness is wholly incidental. Hope most people here agree.
Probably the best job in the world...for a man. Smoking cigarettes, drinking tea, getting most of the profit and watching hordes of topless women! I mean what more could you ask!!

For all the work they're doing, you'd think they were men!

@wheelbaron As with most Mondo films, it contains a grain of truth to it. I don't really have to spell out the pearl analogy do I?
