Personally, I disagree w/ people who say "STFU and enjoy the music." I can enjoy the music, and throw my political opinions around at the same time. I like to explicitly utilize my right to the comment section. Youtube is a good place to see other peoples perspectives on international issues, so why not take advantage of that? In any case, America has been a major world power for about a hundred years now, and it's influence over the language and the world is undeniable albeit not always good.
And everything the US does is for its own benefit. It's a selfish country in that sense, but so is every other country.
