aside from technical stuff that you had to deal with, I love the way you zoomed in closer to his eyes! Speed Racer style, if you haven't seen it, watch it, if you watched it, I would suggest using that during an action sequence! (the way it was done in the movie ofcourse)
great job! keep it up! wan't to see more :D
PS. sorry for still not posting that tutorial, was very busy, still am... :(
@ninjaduderantaro I felt the same. But trust me they are quite similar - think of it this way - after effects may take one click to do something whereas Nuke might take 2 or 3
@ninjaduderantaro Nuke is node based (its like a large graph whereas AE uses layers so Nukes organisation is so much easier and faster - imagine having one hundred layers of footage, effects etc when you can organise them in a neat graph. Nuke supports the .exr format which is widely used for renders in the CG industry. Also Nuke does full 3d whereas AE does 2.5d. However, Nuke does have its falters such as not having its own particles generators and effects that to create in Nuke will be very
@ninjaduderantaro very hard to do. Most teams would write their own software for it or use 3d. However AE seems alot slower than Nuke to me. AND Optical Flares is coming out soon on Nuke, YESS! Also Nukes plugins such as Ocula and Rollingshutter are very useful - maybe more for high end stuff though as alot of it is to do with stereoscopic 3d. But Nukes 3d is awesome - especially for camera projection - really helpful.
haha sweet, this looks totally bad ass. only thing is the debris looks a bit too smooth and tracking could use a bit of work but none the less it's a great effect :D
Sweet! Looks like something is about to go down!
