I autosync but that also gives me a lot of time to play with effects(both hardware and software), loops, cuepoints and so on. Ive just mixed house and techno for 3 years and Im rather good. He's played since he was a kid. You get pure midi-djs that can play just as advanced as that. That said, vinyl has more charm.

The only reason those keyboard warriors are having a go is because they themselves can't even come close to emulating what the likes of A-trak can do. He started off as a vinyl hip hop DJ. Using time coded vinyl and laptop has allowed him to revolutionise his whole way of mixing, and thats a good thing, it opens more creativity than just conventional vinyl Cue, Play, Cross, Repeat. And it means he can also beat juggle and scratch almost all through the song and stil be bale to mix the next song.

even dj craze uses traktor these days.... times have change stop living in the stone ages. most labels stop releasing vynal and most of the songs that come out only limit to a few hundred vynal records that you can only buy online and they wear out and is expensive if your keeping up with current new tunes... laptops, timecoded vynal and cdj's are the way.. unless your trying be a dmc champ or somethin

So what that DJ has become easier? It bastardizes the industry. Go to a club nowadays, half of the guys that are playing.... SHOULD NOT BE THERE... and that is because technology gives them the record collection that i took years to amass.

Im hardly hogging the hobby to myself, I am sad that the art has been bastardize by this junk. While i give full props to A-trak.... he is one of the few current guys, that was great with REAL records.

Do people NOT see what the problem is? When using these laptops, they have a feature, that even if the needle skips, the song doesnt. That allows guys to be flawless. It is NOT possible for the record to skip anymore.

it allows more guys to come in, and not have to be as good. You see a good dj back in the day, could do all the same tricks.... and had to have soft hands. They had to be good. Playing records, and them skipping is not a big deal, but when you are doing tricks, and the needle is jumping all over the place, but the song is NOT skipping.......

you do not see a problem with that?

The world championships is decided with real records. A-trak is good, but is now capitalizing on the fact he does not have to be as good now, because of technology. He would be the first one to tell you that. Any good tricks dj would. What would i know, i have only been a top dj for 20 years.

The technology that allows record to not skip..... is the equivalent to steroids.
