  • I think some of the solution lies in Haitian leaders finding better models. More privatization can be good if it's done a certain way. Former commuist countries like Poland and Estonia were able to expand privatization without the problems experienced by other countries the tried neoliberalism in the 90's. Those U.S farm subsidies aren't real free trade. Even most capitalist advocates are against them like those at the Cato Institute. Subsidies are just tax wasting corporate welfare.

  • fake and gay

  • Hi Protean.

Have you read Dambisa Moyo's book 'Dead Aid?' She is a brilliant economist who argues that aid is the problem (aside from Bill Easterly). Her main argument is that investment, not foreign aid is the solution to development. Very insightful. And I really love your insight on Haiti and its longitudinal underdevelopment. I haven't read Aristide's book but I will be reading it soon.

  • @narcissusverbena I've heard of Moyo & I've familiar w/her book, but I haven't read it. I agree that investment is better than just sending money or goods, as long as the investment is culture-specific & not an attempt to impose our way of life (education, usage of banks & debt) on others.

  • @narcissusverbena I agree with this argument. Companies and entities INVESTED in Japan, China India, and many other developing and developed nations all around the world. Few entities have invested in Haiti, Africa, etc.; it was all hand outs (on the surface at least; I'm inclined to believe some of the theories of organ harvesting, toxin-dumping, etc.).

  • Great video! I always love videos that inform about the stories that don't get a lot of press. keep it up!

  • What happened in Haiti.. gave me a reason to rejoice:) A bunch of dead niggers like the ones in this video died =).

  • great video. the issue of economic imperialism has serious and negative impacts on the world.

  • i always get a kick out of these globalist jews who run around crying about how 'markets need to be open' or 'countries need democracy'

yeah for THEM. They try to make it sound like they're talking about the people of any given country. They're not. They're really talking about THEMSELVES because they want to move in and buy everything pennies to the dollar.

  • @wwintelligencer why do you think usa must hate cuba? because when castro nationalized the country, a lot of jewish business owners lost their businesses and control so they fled to the usa and insisted the usa ostracize cuba "because" it's communist.... even though the usa could still trade w/ china and it is communist.

  • @ proteanview

The idea that free trade can hurt an economy (in the long run) is disproven in the field of economics. The fundamental grounding is that trade (if free) can only occur if both parties expect benefit. Therefore, if a country can make for itself what it wants for less effort than it can import it, then who will import? Similar argument for export.

I'd like you to comment on how this relates to your comments.

  • until you abandon your atheism you will never understand the motive for these evils. the devil is real, and there are those that do what is in his interest. nothing will make sense and you won't find the missing link until you understand this reality and accept jesus christ as your personal savior. you have been brainwashed by the media you consume which blinds you. the globalist agenda cannot be understood without understanding satan's role in the world and what the bible says about him.

  • @GayRepublicanPatriot i think israel was looking for more organs to harvest. haiti was "the" place to be for organs. israel got in and got out quickly. always an eye for profit. lol

  • I'm sure crackhead. Israel does an amazing thing that Arabs didnt even think of doing. Notice how not one Arab Muslim nation sent even one delegation to Haiti. Keep talking smack and hopefully someone will smack you

  • Why would Arab Muslims who currently enslave and oppress black africans care about a country ruled by black people such as Haiti.

  • @zzap999 Zionist.

  • But seriously, as to handouts, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. The type of aid, how fast it's given, even the TYPE of aid, all invite bitching!

If you give a bum $5, they'll bitch that it's not $20, if you give $20, they'll bitch that it's not $50. If you give $50, they'll bitch that it's not in small bills.

I gave a whole COMPUTER to a homeless shelter, and they bitched that it wasn't State Of The Art!

Similarly, Haiti is bitching we're not giving ENOUGH, and that troops stop their thieves!

  • Or look at Somalia. Apparently, we weren't giving them aid fast enough, so they sent thugs out to STEAL some. Oh, and rob any other ships in the area that looked like they had something worth stealing!

I know that there are bad people in every civilization, BUT Third World countries seem to like to give them Free Reign, or worse, hold them up as Big Damn Heroes.

If WE give resources, WE get to decide how much and whom to give it to!

If you pay a bum, and it's not enough, can he rob you?

  • There is an excellent video uploaded by Al jazeera English today entitled: US Black Farmers seek compensation

  • Right on . You gave a great description of the unjust ways people of this planet are being manipuated. by the media, conglomerates, politicians, and religions ! These are the fear mongers that devide us -the normal honest folk.

  • Great Vid...

    Peace

  • A 6.0 earthquake happened in California recently and was felt as far away as 150 miles. Why did'nt the 7.0 Haitian quake rock the Dominican Republic? Many people believe the Haitian quake was not natural. Possibly a result of the HAARP weapon or deep underground conventional explosives were used. Haiti has not had a quake in 200 years. In 2007 a tremendous amount of Gold, Silver and Copper was found to exist throughout Haiti and the Dominican Republic. with the Lionshare being in Haiti.

  • Or maybe it didn't "rock the Dominican Republic" because major population centers in the DR are over 200 km away from the epicenter. Regardless, it was felt in the DR and other Latin American countries, as information readily available from the USGS shows. There were also major earthquakes in Hispaniola in 1842 and 1946. Go away with your scientifically-illiterate conspiracy-theorist bullshit unless you can actually provide some evidence to substantiate your claims against the geological data.

  • Fuck the geological evidence. That doesn't prove shit. The people that created the HAARP weapon are the one's that need to be doing the explaining. Anytime a nefarious super secret weapon of mass destruction is created the people are entitled to an explanation as to it's purpose. That HAARP contraption has the potential of causing massive loss of life. Yet the vast majority of people have never heard of it. My proof is the existence of HAARP all you have is what a criminal government told you.

  • Fuck the evidence and the scientists, the world is 6000 years old! Fuck the evidence, the earth is flat! Words have a tendency to give us away. You claim that HAARP "has the potential of causing massive loss of life", yet if it was responsible for the earthquake, hasn't it ALREADY caused massive loss of life? Your WMD claims are about as strong as Bush's. The burden of proof is on you. I believe the Chinese government caused the Haitian earthquake. My proof is that China exists. Prove me wrong.

  • Until these diabolical criminal governments expose their subterranean activities to the people, I think we all should stay vigilant and question everything they do. You sir are a fool for believing everything they tell you. This government has started wars based on lies, assassinated foreign heads of state, and staged and supported coup de'tats against democratically elected governments that did'nt do thier bidding. I wouldn't put anything pass these bottom feeders.

  • Well, what the lesser countries want, isn't always GOOD...Hitler was "democratically elected", and America tried to butt out, but we keep getting suckerpunched back into world affairs...Each time, it's a little more strident.

Alamo was a military fort, valid target.

Lusitania was a CIVILIAN liner carrying British bigwigs.

Pearl Harbor was a military PORT, but with a civilian population as well--and they bitched when we nuked THEIR port.

9/11 was on a COMPLETELY civilian target!

  • The Sinking of the Lusitania was forewarned. A staged pretext to enter the War. I've never heard of Hiroshima and Nagasaki being military installations. Japan was on its last legs. Their airforce had to resort to suicide bombing American ships. Dropping the Nukes was not necessary. It was done to send a message to the world, as to who was going to emerge as the dominant force in world affairs. Aristide was overthrown because he was demanding repayment from the French Extortionists,

  • Well, I had read--20-some years ago--that Japan wanted to call it a draw. Sounds like a bad Monty Python skit now, doesn't it? "Tis only a flesh wound, let's call it a draw!"

We didn't want a DRAW, we wanted to WIN. The Japanese sense of superiority wouldn't allow that, unless we shattered them completely. We ALLEGEDLY had 5 more nukes, we could've wiped Tokyo or Kyoto, if we wanted Body Count!

Hiroshima was a giant War Factory, and Nagasaki was a shipyard for warships.

  • not we, america. because if someone tried to hold you accountable you'd no doubt say you had nothing to do with it personally.

breaking the japanese spirit, i shudder that this ridiculous sentiment continues to use this as a justification for nuking civilians.

sadly, there is no such thing as karma and america, being a country not a person, will never pay. but there is cause and effect and your continued involvement in shady foreign affairs will eventually lead to your demise.

  • Forewarned or not, the Lusitania was a civilian vessel...it'd be like targeting United Airlines! Oh, wait!

Given that, why is there such a hubbub when Americans hit "civilians", since the enemy don't seem unduly concerned about the status of their targets?

America has NEVER attacked another country with nukes since.

BUT what assurances do we have that lesser countries won't get "mischievous" now that some of them have nukes? They would die, but they would "get their revenge" or whatever...

  • because the military is not expected to act like terrorist cells, though im sure you could justify that.

i like certain brands but i dont make excuses for obviously stupid decisions by execs and neither should you.

  • It was a message to the USSR, in particular.

  • Skeptical, I respect the fact that you think for yourself, from what I can see, but there may be some truth to what the guy says. Our govt clearly isn't spending our tax dollars on us and it's gotta be going somewhere. I don't believe in god but I do believe all the prophecies will be fulfilled. In a world where the govt resolves to control every aspect of human life, why would "they" not have advanced weather modifications? I gave this stuff because it was just too much to deal with, mentally

  • @ResearchKnowledge123 Yeah man, we can't even go there because ppl will look at you like you're a conspiracy nut case. I believe the same thing you do. It's so suspicious. They get hit with a second quake they call an after shock. I mean, what kind of luck would these ppl have. I don't believe in luck though. Everything has a logical reason. The ppl in Proteans rooms are always open minded. Thanks

  • If we were really the Evil Empire this makes us out to be, then we could do the most backhanded dirty trick in the world: Absolutely NOTHING! Let them starve and die off--protect Dominican Republic from being raided by the desperate scum--then we could have ALL the resources. Otherwise, our government is just throwing money into a corrupt country, when it should be going to OUR OWN PEOPLE!

Oh, and Americans are being guilted into helping too.

How much do you think reaches the end-user?

  • @EPGAH Well you may think blacks want help from the west but with help like yours, who really needs it? You don't know much because you prob get your info from the same place everyone else does-the TV. Haaa and you prob believe the idiot box when they say the US is there to liberate the Iraqi people too, when infact the west is there to do the opposite. If America didn't help Haiti they certainly wouldn't "all" die off. Now that's just stupid if you really believe that. How'd you even get here.

  • Ok, you're right, they wouldn't die off, they'd sneak into America, which doesn't have enough Third World illegals yet.

As to Iraq, after China snaked the oil out from under us, why are we still wasting money there?

We got Saddam killed and his "atrocities", but that's not necessarily a good thing: In a land of bastards, you need a BIGGER Bastard to maintain a sort of perverted "order"...They and China kind of deserve each other...

  • i live in a third world country (in the caribbean as a matter of fact) and like most countries the wealth is distributed disproportionately. I've read many of your comments and you seem exceptionally educated/intelligent but all your arguments seem to stem from a myopic view point or should i say hidden agenda. America is founded on the backs of immigrants, legal or illegal, and your conclusions show a complete disregard for complicated world issues impacting life opportunities.

  • Our Government--perpetually out of money, even to the point of borrowing from China--has all this money to spend on countries that made--and continue to make--wrong choices, allowing them to CONTINUE making bad decisions, and because they don't suffer consequences, those decisions must be RIGHT!

Then they get arrogant and start demanding more and more. After all, we're rich, we CAN afford it, why shouldn't we? But EVERY Third World looking for a handout wants more, and we CAN"T afford it anymore

  • you can spend trillions freeing iraq, but haiti right under your nose needs 2 earthquakes to realize it takes around 10 billion to fix the economy, when it was purposefully destroyed int he first place? You don't represent america or all those states of which it is comprised, this is a fundamental flaw in logic, exploited for ages by politicians to galvanize citizens around THEIR agendas. patriotism, to me is like voluntary retardation. it's so similar to socialism except for the selfish part

  • In America, there's a concept called "Tough Love", where you have to LET people make their own mistakes, LET them hit rock bottom, and NOT bail them out, no matter how much they whimper or plead. Third World countries are getting used to America's handouts and have stopped BEGGING and started DEMANDING! Take Haiti--PLEASE! They're upset that troops stopped thieves from taking all the food, because Americans were giving each person a set ration! How horrible of US decide who gets it and how much!

  • Third world countries dont want handouts, they need it. As the majority of 3rd world countries are ex-imperial colonies, when given their independence they were left basically in the wilderness to fend for themselves, and in the end still having to rely on the same bodies who have granted them 'freedom'.

It's amusing to me, especially considering my country just celebrated it's 31st independence yesterday. we're not attached to any large body and dont enjoy the same benefits of being part of

  • What happened to the BILLIONS America gave Haiti before this earthquake? Have they searched the couch-cushions? Maybe a million or two fell in there!

But seriously, they kicked OUT the civilized people, remember? Why should the Civilized World give a damn what happens to them afterward?

If I shot at my parents, I would not expect them to help me! America at least waited until we were self-sufficient to declare independence--and it was that very wealth that made Britain want to hang on so long!

  • And you're HALF right about economies of scale being an advantage for larger economies (And larger CORPORATIONS, for that matter), but you also neglect that the thugs that kick out the civilized people usually upset the infrastructural network the Civilized World had in place. Take Zimbabwe, a thriving farming zone, but now that the Big Boss and his cronies have the best land, they can't even feed THEMSELVES!

  • the large infrastructure that reduces costs by economies of scale for established countries like America. We are left having to rely on few natural resources, and human resources are heavily invested in dead end industries like tourism. This is a basic fact, documented for many emerging economies and "developing nations", coincidentally one of nationals won a nobel prize for his research in this field, which shed new light on the transition from colonial states to independent natures.

  • Take Somalia. We weren't handing out aid fast enough, so Somalia sent out boats to STEAL the aid--and rob any other ships passing through while they were at it.

Now that ONE got caught (Why wasn't he shot like his 3 fellow bangers?), there's all this "He's too poor" and "He doesn't know any better"

If that is true, we should take him and people like him and put them in a retarded institution, rather than try to treat them as equals. They want to be treated as equals--EXCEPT PUNISHMENT!

  • I literally turn off the tv anytime i see some food fight scene in a movie. You have no clue what it is like when food is a need not a want, nor something that warrants surgical intervention to curb appetites. That said, yes, there will always be elements ready to capitalize on such a shortage/opportunity. But you should know that the ratio of "evil" / "good citizens" is the same world wide. I know what part of the world i was born but i by no means identify myself by geography.

  • You want to talk waste of food, you need to quit thinking "national celebration".

Look up Tomato Day in Spain or Italy. 70,000 POUNDS of tomatoes, literally thrown into the streets! To an American, that represents an amazing waste.

My Mom is a cook at a resturant, and the local homeless shelter REFUSED DELIVERY of end-of-day food, because it wasn't good enough for them. Even the POOR are spoiled!

And yes, there's a ton of food commercials, but if you get fat, THAT is vilified too! Paradox?

  • Congrats on not identifying yourself by geography, but too many do. The majority of America's illegals come from one country, and refuse to give up the "culture" of that country--even though it's done NOTHING for them, and indeed, hanging onto it is counterproductive in the country they are invading...Then they wonder why their invasion is considered undesirable. If someone refused to speak your language ON PURPOSE, why help them?

If their culture's so great, why not stay there and enjoy it?

  • ASSUMING a given goal is achievable by legal means, why should a criminal be lionized for doing it the "easy" way?

Or do you consider those who follow the law chumps?

If poverty is an excuse for breaking the law, at what do you become "Not Poor", and thus beholden to the law? And above what point does a "Not Poor" person--or NATION--become rich enough to rob?

And would you REALLY want to live in a twisted system like that?

  • In this regard, I view crime as the inability of the government to cope with the demands of the populace, and I see that inability as a direct result of the inherent flaws of popular political systems, which in the end is the fault of the populace. Humans as biological beings are easily acclimated and the will to survive often leads the majority of them to live in less than desirable situations. These are complicated issues which I'm still trying to understand, which is why i reserve judgment

  • Yes, but this is complicated when one country exports its poor to another. Take Mexico, for instance. They "let" their rejects invade America so that they will be America's problem instead of their own.

Something akin to my neighbor "letting" his dog crap in MY yard, so HIS stays nice&clean!

PLUS, by divesting themselves of these undesirables, they LOWER the number of malcontents in their own country, so they won't develop the Critical Mass to revolt!

  • Great deal for them, but not so much for the country they push their trash ON. A country struggling to take care of ITS OWN poor, suddenly gets a truckload or two MORE to take care of, who DEMAND the same or BETTER treatment as people who BELONG in that country.

If your neighbor kept popping out kids, realizing they couldn't afford them, and dropping them off at your house, when would you consider your house "full", and say, "QUIT BREEDING! WE can't afford it anymore!"?

  • As to Haiti, I have cousins trying to help with the CIVILIAN relief effort...Haitian criminals tried to steal the supplies they were bringing, and the American military scared them off. Naturally, the Haitians were mad that America sent so many troops, it curtails their theft--I mean, "Wealth Redistribution"--Industry!

You don't think they were going to steal the food and dole it out to only the people THEY wanted, do you?

No repressive regime has EVER pulled that before!

    (Sarcasm)

  • Also, even assuming America leaves everyone alone all of a sudden, do you think they'd be left alone? China and Russia wouldn't jump at the power-vacuum?

I got here by following a series of links from a story about a thug getting beaten down on a bus by his super-annuated victim!

If you believe HAARP caused an earthquake in Haiti, why is it so hard to believe that North Korea's "test" of their new nuclear toys caused a tsunami for the Philippines?

  • @EPGAH HAHAHAHA funny you should say that. I don't like to get into this stuff cause it's not like it will change anything but I didn't think that tsunami was legit either. After all, can you imagine if you had inside info before such an event? You're talkin about a few billion dollars in aid from other nations aswell as civilian donations. The possibilities are endless if someone had systems that could do such a thing. I believe they do.

  • I was thinking of that too...I have a pen-pal in the Philippines, she lost her whole house, had to move in with her aunt, etc.

But I assume there more than here, the leaders don't care what happens to normal people, they're completely isolated from the consequences of their decisions, or they can just leave completely.

Obama doesn't have to worry about HIS house broken into, or HIS family attacked, so he thinks it's fun to let in more illegals! (Plus HIS aunt is defying 2 deportation orders!)

  • You're right about the civilian donations...Fully HALF the commercials--even on Cartoon Network--are guilt-trips to send money to Haiti, to--complete with appearances from celebridies from Bush&Clinton to Jessica Simpleton to that Heidi bimbo!--Then a bunch of kids, I guess to get the kids to open their parents' purse-strings?

  • I meant celebriTies...Spelling!

  • this is one of the best researched info-documentary i have ever come across... i have shared this with nearly every Haitian friend and they all, "ALL" confirm everything you claim, they were there when these thing s happened, they lived it, now now it can be shared thanks to your dedication to the truth... there's so many layers to this onion that to reach the truth is a worthwhile accomplishment... many thanks!

  • The subsidization of crops is a terrible weapon used by governments and corporations to take over poor countries and it works very well to the detriment of the poor in whichever country is being taken over...Haiti and Nigeria are perfect example of locals having to watch foreign corporations profit from their resources while they starve.

  • Comment removed

  • woooooooooooooooooooowowowowow WAIT RIGHT THERE. Nigerian oil. Dude... You will be shocked outta your socks when you find out how high the "local" share of the nigerian government on the oil revenue is. The sad truth is the money is gulped up by the gov. employees in vampire-states. Shell does share. Perhaps not enough but A LOT! Look it up. The problem is that particular interests cannibalise the public good. This happens everywhere. But in 3rd world countries clientelism+nepotism are rampant.

  • excellent.

  • 10 stars...imf,eu and SMOM CONTROL THE WORLD

  • @TwoHypeGQ ,U.S. Hit Haiti With 'Earthquake Weapon' HAARP program, FUCKER the U.S. gov! Stop war FOR OIL

  • By far your best video, proteanview.

  • Heya man, i think youre right on "the money", my country New Zealand went throught the same stuff in the 80's the govt. sold as many asset as it could, the best ones ie. most undervalued ones, went to foreign corporations these where asset stripped and anything of value was sold, maintenance stopped and people where layed off enmass. The services where cut one by one. Prices climbed and we all got to feel the cold foul stench of "corporate responceability".

  • Did you watch/listen to the vid before commenting?

  • Comment removed

  • hey baby!

  • some people dont watch before they comment.

we are about to go through something like that here in the states if we dont watch out.

  • This was an excellent vid...reminds me of "Life and Debt" . Its on Netflix and the story is about the importation fraud brought about on one counry.

  • No there is no insistence on initial 'fair and even conditions', they are impossible to achieve, and to strive for is a big waste of energy that will only be used to weaken some for the benefit of others per se and not to even anything as nobody really wants to be equal they want to be in charge and use the stick of equalization to achieve their own status betterment. You think if the situation was reversed the 3rd world would stand for us? F*** NO! they'd want their boots on our necks 4ever.

  • claimed PR was a country?? where? you are so full of troll arguments you cant keep straight who all you're arguing with, lol!

and yes for the record china and russia actually went to Haiti very early on, that was all on camera (which I guess you can claim was a stage, lol), Venez also pledged to get 'involved', that was in their own words but i guess you can claim they were lying??

You call me 'typical American more than once and Ill call you every derogatory african stereotype I can remember!

  • After the quake we faced a situation where China and Russia and maybe Venez et al would have rushed into Haiti to provide 'aid' (control) if we did not, so we did to keep them out. There is nothing unusual about that. It may be a lamentable overall situation but it is what it is. We cant pretend otherwise and use a lot of altruistic grand morality hot air to substitute for good sense. Haiti is going to be a mess regardless. Once again they are caught between bigger powers, hey welcome to Earth!

  • Feigning of altruistic concerns (sham compassion) is mindless, go ahead and downrate! Does anyone honestly think the US should not look out for itself when a nearby poor nation is likely to be used by a global competitor if not? Should the US have let the USSR have the Caribbean instead? Haiti was either going to have US friendly dictators or USSR friendly and Im sure all the American socialists would argue for the latter. Blame govts in general if you need a 'general bad guy', not markets!

  • When foreign entities are better poised to buy 'national industries' at auction, its often due to a lack of competitive marketplace to begin with in the poorer country. and that is always because of greedy and corrupt dictatorial regimes. Haiti has had about 600 dictators in 500 years, and it would be far too much credit to blame that all on the US. Dont forget that much of 20th cent, the USSR was meddling to put in its dictators, 3rd world got caught in the middle; unfortunate,, unavoidable.

  • @midnght9wanderer so you're back making up bs. most of the time "national industries" are for safe are because of your country spreading "freedom" via sanctions or under pressure by imf.

i love how u make up the sceario w/ china & russia to justify what you want. straw man much?

corrupt governments are bad. and so are corrupt, predatory, exploitative businesses. corruption is corruption.

haiti has had only about 70 leaders, not 600. you make up statistics.

  • khem, you're back making baseless claims and relying on the support of like minded people to cover for your absurdity.

when did I ever got to wiki? You know my browsing history? I never referred to wiki in these posts (didnt need it either) so please tell where you got that, Im sure its an amusing story. I never once claimed to have lived in PR, just go through the posts again, ans stop pulling random nonsense out of this air.

And of course appeal to being african-victim when all else fails!

  • No, it's because of a lot of things, one of them being greedy and corrupt dictatorial regimes, another being pressure and predatory loans from the IMF, another being direct foreign intervention by exploitative world powers, like what we're seeing now.

Wouldn't privatizing a resource be a bad idea, until an intranational competitive market can be fostered?

  • OK so we both hate the IMF and World bank, I think both are pure evil and nothing to do with markets. They are part of a central banking system, which is govt run (actually 'fascist' as its govt-private hybrid that oscillates based on convenience) and in a real market environment, no such hideous creature exists. Its due to govt control and socialist leanings of nominally capitalist countries that such things do, they are monsters and should be liquidated! I never defended them, most here did!

  • The first things to go are needed resources; then tariffs and bi-lateral trade protecting currency value. IMF/WB loans are devastating to already unstable economies. Like a psy-op prelude to 'regime change'. The USA has been punishing Haiti for 95yrs or more. We owe them reparations for the 1915 invasion and keeping them down all this time with sanctions and destabilizing Coup d'etats. I'm suprised there hasn't been major blow-back on racist US policy makers and their affilliates.

  • This video is 100% the truth

    5*

  • America was in Haiti up until 1933- 34 around there.

They view Haiti as their reserve.

Oil ,zirconium and Uranium is under Haiti and offshore.

in addition Gold may well be under Haiti also.

USA is there for good now the Earthquake was a used to bring in a couple of battalions armed to the teeth.

I hear murmurs of Americans wanting the people gone from Haiti.

the poor people there need compassion and they are getting cold steel.

    scandalous

  • you are a genius bro, excellent analysis

  • "Corporations control governments." This is not entirely accurate. Control implies that one rules over the other. This is not the case. It's a mutually beneficial relationship between politicians & corporations. They both benefit at our expense. & as I'm sure you know, it's not all corporations. Just the ones with political connections. Governments give birth & protection to corporations. You can't stop corporate corruption until you pull out the roots. and the roots is the government.

  • You speak like a prof '. Friend invite a privilege. thanks.

  • a similar thing happened with Jamaica in the 90's,

  • This is always odd for me as a capitalist. When we get into larger foreign companies coming in and taking advantage of poorer countries.

I am going to disagree with you when you say they were not subsidized. Almost all large multi-national companies are subsidized by a government some where down the line. In fact, I don't believe the majority of them could exist with out government help. But to a country being able to tariff and embargo foreign goods? That is their sovereign right. Fuck Clinton

  • Lots of great information here. Now the Supreme Court has given even more influence to the corporations. Government of, by, and for the corporation.

  • Privatization = pwnage

  • Bravo bravo!

  • It's amazing. I'm glad I'm not the only one that seeks truth instead of settling for media fast food for thought. Things don't go wrong for no reason and for every action there must be a reaction. The west is as filthy as a nation could ever be.

No one understands why ppl could cheer on 9/11. I do..

  • Nice little talk there brother, everything you mentioned is bang on the mark for me.. but keep an open mind.. i think depopulation is as much as importent to them as gaining lands and resources..

Have you looked at codex alimentarius.. Rima laibow nutricide..

  • well researched! adding that Haiti was the first independent nation in the hemisphere after the US offed the Britts... the son of the Plantation, AMERICA, became the new papa and HAITI got the papa baby doc as a rebuttal & compromise to US domination in HAITI

it's fear that provokes people to indulge in pathetic hateful ignorance when others suffer, racism is OLD!

  • right now all im reading is ignorant racial comments, and very strong opinions half of which have not one solid evidence to back it up.

  • @TheInfuriatedEatDogs how intelligent... you're a real feather in civilisation's cap.

  • Because white men like you are full of shit?

  • I'll take that as a yes.

  • actually, we are chocolate colored, sweet and culturally rich.

  • @TheInfuriatedEatDogs wow,.... the blacks have been able to forgive us......... now its just people like you thats wrong with humanity,... im embarased for my own race right now

  • hahaha,.. InfuriatedEatDogs, you are crazy

  • there has been a lot of natural disasters in recent years................

  • Have you heard the one about the new Haitian pop group?

    NEW BLOCKS ON THE KIDS.

  • Great video. I was watching the news and they talk about Haiti like not only is it the poorest place on earth but then they have to kick'em while they are down and say it's their own fault. Then after they trash Haiti and say how terrible it is --They then always say : You know Haiti is run but a bunch of freed slaves and you know those Ni$%^&'s are crazy.

I'm paraphrasing of course, but that's the impression I get. You pointed out some of the real problems.Problems the news won't touch

  • @lmcdowall Yeah you're right. I don't really know what it is about blacks that has made the unseen hands go on such an offensive but I'm beginning to think that it would be better for blacks just not to exist...and I'm black. This is a nightmare.

  • Or maybe just to be left alone?

  • The foreign policy of the US (controlled by the Zionist criminals) is genocide for the Haitians.

  • Awesome job man. Who knows what the UN and the US are doing over there, these sick Nazi FUCKS!!!!!!!!! They are bringing in more artillery that FOOD AND WATER!!! WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?For what!? The US is notletting aid land in Haiti with food and water from Mexico. Should the US control what comes into Haiti? I think HAARP had something to do with this just like the China earthquake...

  • So, the US raped Haiti and left it destitute and now goes in to control it. So Cuba is surrounded.

  • Hey Togoboy, the poster going by the name of Igotissues must 'got a thing' for you b/c he's on my board (I deleted, Im not facilitating such liaison on my own channel) and here trying, repeatedly, to ingratiate himself to your dirty Togo ass.

  • It is EASY to ridicule anothers nation is it not ? Easy to ridicule the mistakes another nation has made no ? This is why its best to refrain from such things and let the population of each nation ridicule their own no ? Have a Good day sir. Blessings to all

  • Sadly the half the togolese sustain themselves on less than1.25 per day....I truely pray that your nation becomes more blessed and increase its prosperity. I am scincere when i say this

  • Interestingly Your nation and haiti were both conquered and colinized by the french. Your nation only gaining independence in 1960 is still very weak and politically unstable...why is this after 50 years of independence ?

  • ohh puhleeze, spare me your adolescence. Of course Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the United states, Hacing lived there i am quite faliar with it, Ok lets talk about Haiti, and HOW MUCh is your nation contributing to the relief effort ? ...you dont have to be specific..you can estimate

  • MY NATION, the great USA has ,scince ww2 provided the world with over 50% of ALL FOOD AID WORLD WIDE...what was it again your nation has accomplished ?

  • @wiseoneetest you are all over the place. "my nation is better than yours" haha. you must be a teenager. this video is about the condition of haiti and why. that is all.

by the way when you say your nation, are you including the "country" of puerto rico? *evil grin*

you don't even know what your nation is comprised of much less anything about the rest of the world.

  • the GREAT nation of Togo spends 63 dollars a year on health care per person..interesting.And WHAT exactly was your complaint ?

  • whats REALLY funny is your home nation TOGO.... everything you have the french gave you. No wonder you Bash the USA. Togo has no accompishments of their own, I understand now... a weak littel nation with jealousy and bitterness. it ALL makes sense now

  • YOU have just been TEA-BAGGED thanks for playing

  • Who founded it? WTF Dude you're all off topic. This has nothing to do with immigration. Go watch Fred or something

  • uhh my friend I know about Puerto Rico and Cuba, I have lived in PR and been to Cuba...NO ONE claims Cuba to have a high Standard of living, A Nation whereby Cubans risk life and limb clinging to rafts trying to escape to freedom.Cuba is among the poorest Nations in the western Hemisphere Haiti IS the poorest Nation. Speaking Of Haiti...who founded it ? uh huh. and if criticising is the Game here , ALL the current residents of Haiti are NOT aborginal are they now

  • @wise you asked why puerto rico had a high standard of living when haiti doesn't. you're comparing apples and oranges.

admit it man. you didn't know puerto rico is a part of your country. did you say "flimsily constructed and poorley researched arguments" haha. yeah this is you. no one in cuba is homeless. tons of american are.

you been to puerto rico but think it's a country? mmm okay man. so do you have 2 phds in whatever topic you debate? lol. don't get frustrated using caps ;)

  • After Reviewing several of your videos I think i will decline your invitation to be firneds, tahnks anyway...it seems to me you like to bash the USA on rather flimsily constructed and poorley researched arguments...thanks for playing

  • how Do you Explain that Puerto Rico has the highest standard of living in the carrabean and haiti and Cuba have the Lowest standard of living ?

  • @wise puerto rico is the united states, my friend. cuba has a high standard of living. no one is homeless, everyone has medical, no one starves and they send more doctors for doctors w/o borders (per capita) than any country. you don't even know that puerto rico is a part of your country???

  • In 1986, a mass uprising in Haiti overthrew the dictatorial Duvalier regime which lasted nearly 3 decades thanks to massive support from the US. "Baby Doc" was offered a plane to France under the condition that he loots the Haitian treasury, and he did.

The crimes against the Haitian people are being masked by this so-called by aid that never even reach the Haitian people.

Haiti needs justice not charity. Self determination is the only solution.

  • @nadoop Yes! true but as long as the west slaps sanctions on, invades, topples government this won't happen. haiti was supposed to bow to slavery and be "decolonialized" when france was ready just as iraq is to for usa.

  • As a Haitian, I know that Haiti is a beautiful country. Just imagine if I promoted the United States by showing photos of Detroit only?

It's really unfair how Haiti has been raped by the US - France - Canada for so long. Haiti has a lot of natural resources, yet they won't tell you that. They'll just go in and steal them all with the help of the puppet president, Rene Garcia Preval.

  • @nadoop Wow you speak in defense of your country by downing another city that has suffered just like your country. That's crazy and you lose all my respect. Much like Haiti, Detroit is giving a fat lip & black eye by the media. False leadership and drugs have ruined this city. No race card here but it's only because it's the largest black city in the US. The media says "take a look! This is how blacks govern themselves!" and this method futher divides & conquers blacks aswell as whites. Genius.

  • you misunderstood me. i was born in a poor country and grew up poor in the united states. i'm fully aware of what's going on.

  • @nadoop No I understood you all right. You made a point or at least you thought you did by ragging on someone else. Good day.

  • suck my dick.

  • Keep educating the mass. Globalization is slavery 2.0; modern day imperialism.

Ariside was re-elected in 2004 with a whopping 92% of the vote. He's done for what Haiti what no other president combined has never done, which is why he was kidnapped by US forces in 2004 and sent into a forced exile in Africa.

The media's one-sided and highly negative portrayal of Haiti is a tactic used to undermine the US's century old interest in Haiti.

  • Fantastic commentary. Thanks.

  • It is a Tragedy. You just used it as a spring board for the issues at hand. There is nothing wrong with that. Not that you need anyone telling you how to think or approve your actions. That is the point! Freedom in most situations is an illusion of control. Keep speaking and maybe the fact you are thinking will wake up others.

  • Rolls eyes

  • Great vid, Ed.

I've come to expect no less from you.

  • Very informative. Thanks, Ed!

  • I'm sorry if I had too much vehemence against one side and favoring the other, its just that we as viewers feel strongly about the ideology that best represents us.

  • Highly informative. Keep educating the masses! Great vid, it could have been longer, didn't seem like 6 minutes at all.

  • your very smart. and right on the mark. this world bank is evil at it's highest level. Scott (BUG)

  • Seems to be the natural progression of institutionalism. It becomes focused on some fundamental that blurs all other elements, then set free to run it's course, eventually feeding on itself. We don't just automate machines and processes, we automate our institutions as well. Put the cruise control on, and go sleep in the back seat. I don't know why people get so surprised to see we end up in the ditch. And I don't think this economy is done collapsing yet.

  • Just like the once, great, Empire of Rome- we are slowly destroying ourselves and taking others down with us....sad.

  • @ morakdais please show where I "contradict" myself. As far as "coughing up your facts first" OK..cough cough biolsci(DOT)org/v05p0706.htm#headingA11

This is a peer reviewed test w/ my facts on the problems w/ GMO corn(which is 90% of ALL U.S. corn). Now it is your turn. As far as your comment on Mexican Ag. The natural corn of Mexico is being overrun by our subsidized gmo crop corn. But we can take this discussion 1 point @ a time.

  • to pro please do more in depth video about haiti. i like to know

  • A CNN reporter is on Video showing a box of Corneas she found under a table in a tent hospital in Haiti.

No one knew where it came from.

    Got Organs?

  • mabye the israelis are there to harvest some organs

  • LOOK at PROTEAN GO IN!!! And we all thought that they hated us because of our freedoms....

  • Germany was destroyed for not cooperating with these parasites.

  • *Some people rearrange the plate of food served to them & call it change. Others go into the kitchen and prepare a meal.*

You must know, that sometimes, going into a kitchen by yourself to prepare a meal takes a lot of time, energy and effort.

So who is going to do the dirty dishes, and who is going to mop the greasy floor afterwards? And would people feel worthwhile and be inspired to do these for you?

  • Maybe does washes his own dishes and mops his own floor =D
