What is it that you use to import sound and video from the fantom to your computer?

I want to use the camera on my laptop but that sound is obviously not as good. your is just perfect.

@jxhirt i just use a daw, in that time i used Cubase i think, and I export it and then i import that sound and the video in movesoftware and sync them up. thanks!

Hey you're doing ever so well. I've got a Juno G that has simmilar sequencing capabilitys, I've done a few stuff on it like Gary Numan covers & other but I have a bit of trouble with the effects some times but I'm getting a helping hand with this from the shop I bought it from so getting there though I need to start using audio & I be laughting. Cheers & keep up the good work playing & recording.

@marcomchannel Depends on who you are. Weather you want comfort or whatever. I prefer to have more than 1 sound at a time like on the RFG-8(Roland Fantom G 8) you could have 88 different sounds. But that's just me.

@drummingtrumpeteer69 The V-synth GT isn't really a workstation for beat making, it's a synth, if you mean routing thru G or GT as an effectprocessor the G would be the best and also for the beatmaking itself

@Anderulio Personally; Hte Roland Fantom G8, it's modern, smart, .. special features like the padbank and d-beam, are all special things you won't get with the Yamaha

in the time I have this synth and it's already one year hasn't frozen ones!!

That problem occurs only if you overdo it with switching patches while still holding the keys to play a sound. So top speak, switching once in time, no issues, but switching a couple of times within a few seconds only (which is unreal) then it does freeze.

now i see what you guys mean by freeze to fix that problem just use the fav banks and set up your patches in the order you use them, you might have to use more like that but it works

i did think, and since this is a vid about the g8 and since the first guy who asked the question asked specifically about the G and you replied without specifying which model it was safe to assume you spoke of the G8 too.

by the way whats better or worse with the motif i had a hard time deciding when i bought my fantom

Ik zit zelf op moment in een twee strijd. Of een software synth, zeg maar Logic Studio + Akai MPK88. Of dat ik voor de duurdere oplossing ga, en dat is een G8. :)

Ben jij toevallig bij jouw keuze ook gekeken naar de software kant i.c.m. een midi controller? En zo ja, vanwaar toch een G8 gekocht?

Hey whats the difference between a workstation and a synthesizer

Hey, a workstation is some kind of all in one recorder keyboard synth. It has the ability of direct intrument recording thru midi or analog input and/or midi and make compleet recording with 1 piece of equiptment.
