The comments from those of you experiencing life with any shade of this condition, are deeply meaningful to me. Your voices are the colours of the rainbow. Please don't feel afraid to share your feelings. We are all going through this journey of life together, and we all have something of great value to share. Thank you for being here, and for being you.
Like dragonicwolf and few other commenters I too have AS. I have an original song that goes into the rainbow, also on YouTube, you can find by searching "a colorful group of people." I actually got a lot of my inspiration from lady who wrote A is for Autism, F is for Friend. You have a great song.
i have aspergers syndrome, a type of autism threatened to be taken off of the spectrum, and i believe that the people of so-called "science" should butt out!! they should not interfere with the autism spectrum, and i am proud to be me, yet nobody lets me be me, i am secluded, alone, and i have developed a somewhat fear of the people around me, those i knew in my past still pick on me for what i did then, and i just want to me me, but they chain me here to the cold, cruel, unforgiving world im in
Yes, I liked this song very much and if it ever become's available to purchase, I would certainly like to know how and where to purchase it. I have a 7yr old daughter with ASD and ADHD. Thanx, Heidi.
This is amazing... I am doing a Autism Awareness Workshop called "Different Stars Shine The Brightest" and wanted to know if i could use this in the presentation?
@moshhardscreamloud1 Yes, of course you may use this. It is the reason I created this. Thank you for your interest, and your effort on promoting autism awareness. Please email me directly if I can be of service:
@taverlisk Just gave it a listen. So deeply touching!!! Thank you for sharing this! Your child is obviously lucky to have such loving parents! My best wishes with your journey.
This is a wonderful song. We have a daughter with autism and we just got back from a vacation in Colorado, where we were really blessed to see 2 double rainbows. One was going up to the summit of Pikes Peak and the other was in Kansas on our way home. The one in Kansas was super bright and we stopped at a rest stop and our daughter got out and said "What a wonderful Rainbow". The timing of this song and our vacation is awesome. If this song is available to buy, let me know. :)
@makmom65 It is such a sweet story! Thank you for sharing this. The song has not been released commercially yet, but is available to all who wish to use it for any purpose related to living with autism.
I know a man that has a type of Autism and works in developing Android Phones. He carries all the new phones 2yrs before they come out. Now where do you work with your ignorant mind? McDonalds?
As the mother of a child with autism I loved the premise of the song ironically titled "Rainbow", however I was very dissappointed in the video. In my opinion it did not accurately portray the rainbow that is "autism". We are african-american, and it would have been nice to see a rainbow of children as every race is affected by this disorder. A little diversity would have been the right way to go.
@dkeller504 Thank you for your reply. Actually, this video was quickly assembled for an event hosted by ASD Taiwan. It is a temporary video, and a request was made for them to provide photos for a final version (rather than largely-stock images and the few they were able to provide in advance). Since their association is based in Taiwan, you can imagine the use of many non-Asian families is also not ideal. However, if you would send us your photos, we would love to include in our final version!
@mashowtv I sincerely appreciate your response. And I would love to see a photo of my little boy included in the final version of your video. I have sent some photos to your email address listed above. Again, thank you so much for a beautiful song!

Great uplifting song. I happen to have Asperger's syndrome, so this song does hit pretty close to home for me. =)
