Nice H. I have a 1949 H that my great-grandfather bought brand new in 1950. Also have a 1941 H that I am in the process of restoring right now. Quite an undertaking, but well worth the pride in the finished project.
I want my Farmall H to sound like that when I'm done. That's the way I remember my friend's Farmalls sounded when I was a kid in the early 60's. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
nice running tractor i have a 45 H and i just painted it last summer when i got married i put a wide front on mine tho i love it i drive it to work a few times a year about 8 miles one way
I got a.AW6 loader W6 crane W6 tractor. oh ya i got 650 MCcormic the petrol diesel one. one 500 and two LA case's. im in australia and only 23yold i want the biggest colection in my town ha ha. i like fixing them and useing them.
Beautiful job..I am restoring one right now, but I can't find a starter, and no one around where I live has any idea about these tractors, We can push it off, but won't start Any ideas? Thanks
Great job! Nice to see someone that does their homework and finds out what to paint and more importantly, what NOT to paint! You left out the shifter knob though, but I don't blame you one bit. I always skip it on mine, too!
P.S. The Super H was only built for two years, 1953-54.
Wow! You did a fantastic job on that restoration. I'll bet it looks and runs as good as it did when it first drove off the lot in 1949! Beautiful work.
It is actually a Magnaflow stainless steel echo tip made for trucks. I just welded a piece of pipe to the end of it to match up to the size of the exhaust pipe on the tractor. So, just measure the diameter of the exhaust pipe on the tractor, and go to a muffler shop and they can probably make you one.
I actually shot this clip about two years ago right after I got it finished. I am in college now and am a long ways away from the tractor. So as of now, no, but maybe in a year or two.

Very nice restore. I used to have a 49 Super H.
I used the M&W power piston and sleeve set when i overhauled her and it added a nice little rumble to her exaust note.
Thanks for the Re-memories! You should be very proud of your work.
