Who else would pay to see this guy perform in Vegas? I TOTALLY WOULD, and looking at the others in the top four I have to say it's a toss-up between Poppycock and Fighting Gravity.

Also love contrasting this act to his most recent one to get into the Finals, he's good here but the professional help in Hollywood just polishes his act off to a shine.

They were ESPECIALLY portrayed in this ridiculous fashion in theater, for the intention of being exaggerated and over the top. Once upon a time, in England, no one would have batted an eye seeing this guy dress and act this way and it would have just been natural assumption that he was in theater.

I love that John brought that back, I love that he's honoring the origins of Opera. I KNOW he's going to take the AGT Crown (if he doesn't, I'll be so shocked and disappointed) Note: On the children who are competing in AGT, the idea is to headline in Vegas (my hometown) no one is going to pay to see children perform. Poppycock, however, Vegas will eat him up!

Let me just add that John Quale created the persona of Prince Poppycock ala "Italian Commedia del'arte al improviso" from the 1700's. He is not trying out for the Metropolitan Opera. He has created his own genre, using as his inspiration the aforementioned theatrical comedy of the 1700's. His favorite characters of that era are the Harlequin and Peirrot, the clown. He's AWESOMELY CLEVER AND TALENTED!!

largo al factotum is by far one of the more difficult pieces to sing. he does a brilliant witty and off the wall version of this . that was a risky move, but he pulled it off far better than i ever thought . if anyone watches professionals on youtube who have performed this aria, this guy i think out performs the professionals. I wonder what Rossini would think of this guy ? Cant wait to see his next performance. awesome job!!!!
