4 all u who is confused about the glass, they want you to feel calm and not heart attack, so they let u breath in and out and let you see Melbourne from a great view. It's not that scary, seeing Melbourne from a nice view. I've been and I'm only 10.
@Simo4404 Because that's part of the experience. It's due to some sort of glass that when it's left un touched, it is "Murky" or Opaque and when connected to a circuit, becomes crystal clear!
the first time i went on after the sound of the glass smashing i wrapped my arms around the metel bar and closed my eyes, the people said if we fell u probley would die of a heart attack, for those people thx : /
I've been on this before. It's really awesome. If you want to get to the viewing platform from terra-ferma (which means "ground", i think) then you can do so in under a minute. the elevator reaches the "EDGE" in 38sec due to the ability to go 9 metres in 1 second. and the "EDGE" is also something that's worth the wait. i had to wait at least 40min before getting in the cube 300m above terra-ferma for about 5min. after entering the cube, you get projected 3m from the side of the building and...
well if you put the CN tower into the melbourne skyline it would stick out like a sore thumb if you talk about the height of the roof/antenna not highest floor.. it would be roughly 2x the height

CN Tower in Toronto Canada has this for free at no extra cost at the top floor and its 2x the height of Eureka haha
soseg 3 years ago
No it isn't...
CN Tower is 1815 ft in total height.
But the deck is at the 1122ft mark.
Eureka's deck is at 975ft.
And Sears Tower in Chicago has the highest at 1,353ft.
So get your facts straight next time mate. haha.

yea geez i wasn't being serious when i said "2x" but it is quite noticeably higher

Haha, all good mate, just taking the piss.
But 150ft ain't that noticable, is it?
I agree it should be free, but you gotta pay to play with everything in this city.
What can you do? haha.

Oh yeah, it would stand out like dogs balls. But it kinda does that in Toronto too.
Never been a big fan of the Radio Antenna style towers though.
CN tower was built out of necessity though. It had to be higher then all other buildings to get the desired reception.
Still an engineering masterpiece, anyway you look at it.
