I remember this storm well...luckily I had gas heat. It was the one that dumped all the ice on Middle Tennessee...the temperature was hovering right at freezing that night, and transformers all through west Nashville were poppin' like crazy. There are trees to this day on my parents' farm that are still crooked from being bent over due to the weight of the ice. A year before this was the Storm of the Century that hit in early March.
