  • Vin Diesel sure can wail!

  • @Stoney15 seeing as satch has been known far longer in the music industry than vin diesel has been in the movie industry, your comment was not only unfunny but pointless.

  • what an ass the video is wrong upload thats why

  • okey man i was be there it was live.camera and sound system bad in 2.03.there is a some technical problem in cameras for that time ok?

  • when you here this while your driving any motorized vehicle it makes you want to drive fast

  • cheese rock...

  • This song would be good with clips of Sonic the Hedgehog.

  • im not a joe satriani listener

but i think that he is top 10 best guitar palyer

  • I seen him live in may last year at the newcastle city hall it was pure electric the time i had in my life and when he played this song aswell as surfing with the alien the hair on the back of my neck stood on end it was amazing ROCK ON JOE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Interesting. This was my first time seeing Satriani playing in video. I can't believe he hit the scenes 20 years ago when I was in high school!

    Nice video post!

  • in the end of video he played something but slash ,but in speedy version :P

  • fucking lag 1:58

  • ...questi non sono musicisti ma segaioli del cazzo!...meno seghe con gli strumenti...e più musica!

...ma come cazzo fate ad ascoltare sta merda?!?

  • Joe Satriani is a LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!1

when i get home imma learn summer song and flying in a blue dream!!!!!! LOVE IT!

another awesome song is "going down" by steve vai Joe Satriani and eric johnson!

  • because the crowd can´t believe what they're seeing!!

  • i had my drink on the stage

  • when ur at his concerts ur in to much awe to speak I was at a concert front row could reach out and ouch him i could barely speak

  • FUCK THAT HAM STEW guy

  • i like the stu dance XD

  • jeah satriani is great but stu hamm also is really good *listen to that bass*

  • Grandiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!

  • i hate that guys face hes so cocky

  • The only ones that sit at a Satriani concert are the ushers and the lame Satriani Vy and Johnson on tour blew out my knee caps Vy did not impress Johnson for melody Satrini for endless notes into your ears and out the other side of your skull Hamm is great However the audience blows as they threw stuff at him.

  • Ammazzziinnggg!!!!!!!!

  • Wow... Stu Hamm. Need I say more?

  • wtf, why is the crowd so... tame? If I saw this live I'd loose my shit! Like, their compleatly still and silent during the show! Satriani doesn't get half the respect he deserves.

  • That IS respect. If the crowd likes him, they should just shut up and listen to the good song. People are there to watch the artist playing not to make annoying noise. Cheer betweeng one song and another, but during the songs shut up and let him show his good work.

  • out her in PA thats how all the concerts r like..even metal ones..i dunno if thats in PA..but in PA thats how they all are..its retarded

  • They Are mesmerized, They are in shock at the pure godliness they are beholding

  • dude they were so amazed that they just stood there and said...wow... they were unable do da anything. they just thought"...wow..."

he gets the respect, but you have to see him live, to understand the athmosphere.

    peace.

  • I know! Seeing something like this would make me wanna move, maybe find a pit.

Same thing happened at Metallica gig I went to...and I just think 'What's the point of you being here? You might aswell have stayed home and listened to a CD if all your gonna to is stand and drool...'

  • yeah its like this was played at my church

  • @JuggernautJoey Dude they are standing in awe of his greatness!

  • @JuggernautJoey The same for Steve Vai when he's on, its like What the fuck!? it looks like there all Zoned out....In a Concert like That!

  • @JuggernautJoey

They're actually listing to the music instead of acting like a moron who's never been to a concert and goes there for beer, chicks and other bullshit cuz they think it's cool.

Joe touches your soul, you'll stand there hypnotized!

  • @JuggernautJoey It's his own fault lol he's so incredible, the utter freedom and command over

his fretboard is used only to convey exactly what he feels like telling the audience.

He uses his limitless skills only to better design his stories and emotions and connect with his

listeners in a way that's beyond simply playing guitar on stage.

  • @JuggernautJoey well if you wanna go crazy go to a lamb of god concert, joe's music is different, more analytical, recital kind, interesting to watch as well.

  • @guitar1324 Well there's a difference between showing appreciation and the wall of death jeeze. I think dancing around and shouting are acceptable. Group movement is different from moshing.

  • @JuggernautJoey well, if i would go to a joe satriani concert, i'd be extremely concentrated in his music without wanting to be disturbed, of course I would cheer between songs and all, but just because they-re not moving doesnt mean they're not enjoying it, not a good assumption, i bet that half of the people that go to satch's concerts are musicians, I would expect to see a more musically oriented audience who actually wanto to analyze and watch what he is doing.

  • @guitar1324

This. I went to one of gigs a few days ago, crowd was the same. I think if I started dancing around people would've got pissed off very quickly.

  • @guitar1324 Good Call , Satriani nails me to my seat every time

  • @JuggernautJoey the audience mics are just not very loud in the mix

  • @JuggernautJoey i saw him live in boston about a week ago and the crowd was crazy they were so lowd and awesome so idk what these fans r doing

  • @JuggernautJoey I know man... I saw Joe for the first time about 2 years ago in Melbourne (Australia). My Dad and I were going fucking mental while everyone else was just standing there like fools. I swear Joe came over and was like nodding at us while he played lol.

  • @JuggernautJoey because they are so mesmerized by satch that they can't move their muscles.

  • Still love this track!

  • Damn Joe is young looking hes like the Dick Clark of guitar.

  • Dreadfully out of sync. But cool.

  • can u actully download this song with stuar hamm playing the bass intro cuz it just not the same without such an awesome intro

  • uhhh..

    esta buenisimoooo.¡¡¡ =)

  • saw satriani with stu last night in vegas. one of the best shows I've seen. I completely had underrated stu. Now i'm downloading everything he's ever done.

  • I like Joe's music best with Stu playing the bass. Teriffic sound and tight playing, really dig it.

  • Screw download! His music is worth buying!

  • How can sit down at a Satriani concert!!! I mean are you serious? With music like that its hard to be still!Rock on .......AAAAAHHHHHHH!

  • Sounds like the dude that did cliffs of dover.....

  • Eric Johnson. Their sound may sound similar to the casual ear, but their styles are quite different.

  • hes commenting on the guitar tone, and they are similar, except satriani uses a little more distortion and johnson uses some more reverb

  • I dont think Johnsons sound is in anyway close to Joes,The closest to his tone id say would be the Amazing great late Shwan Lane.Butlike you said to the casual ear it all sounds the same,lol..

  • i like stu waaaaaay better than matt bissonette....i mean...he is stu!!...

  • i saw satch a few years ago and met the whole band after the gig....unfortunately stu hamm wasn't playing....he is a true legend of the bass!

  • a rather shiny black guitar hes got there

  • it's silver

  • lol

  • I didn't know people actually used harmonics in songs lol

  • wow..

  • I meant it's not common. Don't act like some smartass

  • ever heard of jaco pastorius?

  • Little overrated.

  • when i play at 2:32 something gets wrong...?

maybe becouse i use .10 strings and have 1 .11 string...? well never mind i'll ask my guitar teacher, but if any1 knows it, plz tell me

  • ahhhhh.....sweet video game music.

  • whenever im at the beach this song will play on the i-podXD

  • O____O

i cannot believe this is real

    O____O

  • well...good thing yur retarded...satriani is one of the few players with true emotion when he plays.

  • ever hear of jazz musicians? lol

  • Joe is very melodic.... listen to "always with me always with u" or "starry night"

  • STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • never get bored in this song

  • same

  • EXCELLENT playing but an odd looking group.

  • i want to play like stu hamm and i gonna make it

  • does this vid have a spazz at 1.44 on anyone elses?

  • no man you're on LSD.

  • lol shhh dont tell the cops:| no seriously the vid goes tarded

  • yes it does, bummer

  • Most of the time people think that the guitar is the best instrument. It's nice to see Stu with an equally cool bass line, just to show that bass can be cool too.

  • Yeah! I agree with you my friend!

  • Anyone know why satriani always wears those scary sunglasses?

  • Because he's actually.. Michael Jackson!

  • :D:D:D

  • to protect his eyes?

  • Funny how tastes vary - I can't take 2 minutes of Malmsteen but could listen to Satriani all day.

As for Stu - get out of you you sick sick man you :)!

  • This would be sick if it weren't for the slight tearing around 1:50

  • these guys sound great but man...seeing them play these guys are LAME!! What's with the those glasses and stu's dance moves?? haha. i'll never be able to listen with out seeing stu rocking out like that in my head....

  • those harmonic licks stick with me

  • ya right! id be moshin so bad at a sastch concert. id be puchin kids like a slayer concert and it would be the best concert in the world.

  • I reckon this is the best summer song vid up so far. Stu ham rocks also :d

  • good luck with that, most of gigs nowadays are sitting down

  • se rallo el puto disco:(

  • Stu ROCKS

  • check out country(a night in hell) from stu hamm, its pretty much awesome. Him, Victor Wooten, and Les Claypool are the numero unos of the bass world.

  • Yeah!
