Hi, im a USMC ww2 Reenactor in New Zealand. I was just wondering about the stick with the ball and loop? Does it have a name and was it used during the period for training? I have never seen anything like that before; any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Mac.
@ginjaninja1988 It is called a Training Stick. You can read about its implementation in U.S. Field Manual FM 23-25 Bayonet, M1905, page 15. We have a PDF copy of this book on our Easy39th website.
