  • @silverrock224 am dm and em

  • really excellent track, i can hear so many diverse artists in it... and its awesome to jam to. Niiiice 6 stars

  • It's a bit to short! i can only make a few good juicy licks over this, because i like them to be long and hard (thats what she said)! but it is a rather good backingtrack !!!!

  • thank u a lot.. it's great to improvisation

  • nice job

  • you could go as well, from a dorian, to a-melodic minor to Bb melodic minor (A-alt) right before the switch to the d-minor chord.

Thats, where the tracks come from:

    amazoncom Rock-Guitar-Secrets-AMA-Verlag/dp/3927190624

  • i wish this was 10 minutes long instead of 2, such a killer track, im havin so much fun right now its not even fun anymore lol

  • nice track man, i just saved it to my favorites, im gonna try something with this tomorrow

  • @spacebrain44 fjärt

  • Well, I tried the Mixolydian and the Melotic Minor over it, (I just an to new to make sound good)

  • so easy and nice to solo on

  • A dorian!

  • looky looky liky liky

    thanks

  • now I got really confused. Can someone write the acord progresson? thanks xD

  • I posted them earlier (see somewhere below).

  • @gitarlover1 try am, dmaj, em.

  • @gitarlover1

its a twelve bar blues to me thats what it sounds like so try

    a minor 7

    d minor 7

    e minor 7

  • The F7 chord is a passing tone to the dominant of A. This is a simple 12 bar blues using a minor 1 and 4 chord followed by a dominant 5. A Pentatonic/Aeolian and arpegios outlining the changes is the way to go for this one.

  • I agree completely; I would not use Fmaj7 as maverickpwn suggests. You could use straight F (that would be a substitution for Dmin), but F7 or even F9 sounds much better: it's basically a triton substitution of the secondary dominant of Amin, the tonal center of the tune.

  • LOL

    jam track phooomph

  • Lol yeah. Jam Track Funf. Funf is five in German :p

  • @jimjamkillsnerds hahaha

  • aus peter fischer rock guitar secrets ;-) hab ich auch dat ding!

  • it is NOT YOURS...

i have the CD as well...

you should point that out man

    0 stars for that and

asking for a SUB on top...

  • tschäm träch fünf!

  • @Gorn171 lol

  • thx had fun with it!

  • the harmonic minor scale also works very well with this chord progression...sounds better in Cm or Bm...god bless ya.

  • or is it simple blues structure in Am??

  • Yes it is a blues in A minor.

    Am X4, Dm X2, Am X2, F7, E7, Am, E7(#9)

  • @Flamencoblues: Is that what you call a 145 progression? What about the F7 that's a 6th?! Can you explain? thanx

  • Comment removed

  • The F7 is a Maj 7, the maj 7th note in that chord is an E... the fifth of A. Think about it in terms of tension instead of knowing the names or places in scales, their function becomes rather important too.

  • @maverickpwn Oh! I think I understand... so the E note if the Fmaj7 is a fifth of the A minor scale... hence it is consistent with the 145 progression!!

So the Fmaj7 is still tonically a fifth of the A minor??

  • Well it's root; F is the sixth note along in the A minor scale but its function is to sound like a dominant chord. It does this by having the E in it. It's still a 146 rather than a 145 but if you thought about how it's a 14 6Maj7; you could see how it contains the fifth of A and as such leads the progression back to the tonic.

  • nice chord progression could you please tell me what it is

  • It's the chord progression of BB King's "The thrill is gone"

  • Take out the ghost in you then...you'd be happier...

  • Peter Fischer...

  • make it longer please !!!!!

    thats what she said !

  • LMAO!

  • @ugotpimp lol you dont want her to say that

  • nice dire straits-type tack!

  • cool track

  • Can someone explain to me why this is considered they key of Am. (Don't know very much about music theory) and why the 8 is in parentheses?

  • i think they mean hammer-on the 8

  • the 8 is in parenthesis because you bend the 7 up until it sounds like the note at the 8th fret, and it's Am because if you used the a major scale it would sound right

  • its in the key of aminor becuase it starts with that chord and comes back to that chord every time. i don?t know how to describe it. the eight means you should bend the seven

  • Because the pitches used in this backing track are A B C D E F G

  • I believe it is because A minor is the tonal center of the song. Meaning the song feels like it is based around the scale of A minor. However, that's not to say you can't ever play notes outside of the A minor scale or even other scales/modes. Infact often sounds more interesting if you play outside of the scale now and then.

  • lol u all fail, if u listen to Buckethead you would kno its a "ghost note"

  • Nice chill track. I loved playing to that one.

  • elevator music

  • nice,played santana-style lead over this.

  • lmao dude same here i was like playing all santana style over this i think it came out good cuz im trying to write a song so pretty great..

  • good track had fun with it

  • Am7, Dm7 and E7#9.

  • try slipping in a E7-9 after E7#9 on the turn.

  • Excellent jam track, just wish it was a bit longer .. still in my favourites though ;)

  • I'm not sure how well it would work, but to make this longer one could create a playlist of the same video. I have no idea what sort of delay there would be in between videos, but I figured I would suggest it anyways.

  • I know a cool thing. E 5 B 8, and bend the B string to 10 and then just play first the b 8 then b 10 and then e 5 and fast after eachother, hope you all understand..

  • good!

  • Vielen lieben thanks und schönen day noch !!!!!!!!

  • danka!!!!!!!!!
