They told me they don't typically order PET scans until the pt. is well into the treatment phase. Makes me wonder how many women out there could've avoided putting their bodies through the ringer (some actually die from the treatment) had they only known their cancers hadn't spread as far as they were led to believe. As for sugar...well, though I'm not very good at avoiding it myself...sugar is known to feed cancer cells. Glad to hear, though, that you are doing well. More power to you!!!
Was wondering if you had Pet scan prior to doing any of their treatments?? I also was dx'd with Breast Cancer back in December of 2011 after finding my own lump. But before even surgery, I insisted on a PET scan. Thankfully the scan showed the CA to be only in the area where I'd found it and they were able to remove it all. Nodes were clear margins were clean and, even tho' they pushed radiation/chemo I refused their poisons. A year later and a second PET scan later, I am still cancer free.
Wow I just run into your previous video like a year ago and I was wondering are you ok and then I saw this 1 wow you look great I am so happy that you make it through, you r a really survivor live strong god bless you much 2 you and your family as well
I'm so proud of you. You look great! watching your videos gives me alot of hope. i"m also 31 with 2 small girls and i try to stay strong and not let them see me cry. I'm in stage 2 of breast cancer and have completed 3 chemo treatments. Is it me or does that red medicine they give us through our port makes everyone go against all red liquids? Anyway thanks i now know that i'm not alone.
I can't believe the similarities in our stories!! Soon to be 30 and was dismissed by a surgeon after finding a lump. It started at 1.6 cm and after the surgery it measured 5.3. You are right, be your own advocate!! Just had a lumpectomy and the piece of mind that it's out is wonderful!! Awaiting the Pathology report is stressing! But your videos are so inspiring! Thank You so much:)
@OurLadyLourdes thanks for commenting. I'm glad you had a lumpectomy. I know what you mean about getting piece of mind after it's out. Hope your report is ok. Keep me posted.
