I'm always thinking about how could be curious to see the great composers from the past seeyng things like that. They were great but I'm they would to be very surprised and delighted.
@Chico4761 I sometimes wonder about that sort of thing too. It would probably take some time to get over the disappointment of not getting what they lived to expect from music and to appreciate the value of what is there which works in the context of its own time.
You are the best player i've ever seen in my 16 years old life. You have becamed the idol for me. And thank you for making tutorials and covers, that i bet, not only me have enjoyed! ( at least i have)
Hallo Paul, that sounds really great. It has the groove of Roger and looks so easy. But I know, it`s not easy to play. Perhaps you can give me new ideas for my video?
@MyszaCapri I think I did transpose it, mainly because I always used to play it in Bm without checking what key it should really be played in; so I transposed to compensate.
@MyszaCapri Definitely. :) I noticed that too. Huh ... B and F# in the logical song? ;-) Frankly, I could even never play it in B minor, I would always hit the wrong notes because I've been so used to Cm...(playing off the cassette, you see...)
Very good performance. Pls sit with Youtube and make a slow version so I can learn it. Thanks. I learned it a bit using Cm,Ab,Bb and so on, can you move it to that key too? ......
@psykdiva Thank you. In this song the piano plays the lead part and everything else fits around it, and it feels great to play it; very empowering. You don't have to put much in to get a lot out, if you know what I mean. I remember years ago my flat mate caught me playing air-piano in the kitchen, and this is what I was playing, I just couldn't stop myself.
cheers Paul, another winner. I can really hear the life you put in this as only someone who plays by ear truly can. You've inspired me to learn this piece myself. Thanks.
One of my favourite groups from the mid-late 1970s. Brings me back to my kindergarten days, as well as the summer of 1979 leading up to my first trip on a plane.
very, very good. a lot of people who play on keyboards and use synthesized voices make the piece sound wierd, but this really stays true to the song, as do most of your pieces.
Thanks Tauntonjams - and thanks for favoriting. I normally find it harder to breath life into the sheet music version than to just figure it out myself.
Bravoooo!great!!!!

It isn't perfect, but it is pretty damn good. That is a very insulting thing to say. Could you imagine how long it took him to do this?
Just because you'll never be able to play this good, you shouldn't put this man down for the effort he put into doing this fantastic cover.
sigh...
