To plant a seed, go to build&buy, family inventory, choose your seed, place(on the ground outside), go back to live mode, then select your seed and it should say plant :)

I don't think on ps3 we can plant. I have garden at lvl3 and I choose the seed put all it says it to "put away"

The Death Flower fruits once, unless you have the Green Thumb trait, where you can revive it once. So, the maximum number of fruits possible to get from any one Death Flower is 2.

what everyone is failing to say is that you need to first go to buy & build then open catalog then go to family inventory, R1 to sim click your seed them plant. @GamesAddict2010 SORRY my friend .there is on other thing that might just do the trick.

in one of the tips it says ,ONLY A PATIENT OUTDOOR TYPE OF SIM CAN DO A PERFECT GARDEN .

so one of your traits should be outgoing or something like that as well as gardener.

I changed my traits ,I'm no expert but it works for me .

try this ,start a new game with outgoing and gardener in your traits ,get to level three and see if it works .

if not just load you old game.

please reply if it works

what i did when it didn't work for me i got frustrated and looked on youtube lol.

all i saw was gardens with fences .anyway i started a new game but with different traits.which i forgot to mention

anyway it works now so its eather the fences(NOT YOU SAY ) or my new traits.

.then the lesson says in the buy n build place the seed from your invtry on the ground outside .

blah blah blah... then nothing happens lol. it could be something we miss or wrong soil or maybe you have to put a fence round it or get higher skill.. anybody got anymore ideas.?

@babyxkande - seeds are found around town, they look like fat worms on the ground... or you can plant some of the basic things like lettuce... fertilizer is whatever that particular sim has on them at the time... the option is use best fertilizer or something like that... go to the shop and buy a bunch of the foods then you shouldn't have any issues lol

you have to go around the town looking for them in the ground you can find them in lots of places, like parks, but the special ones are easier to find around the cemetery...hope that helped

Yes, the Death Flower only fruits once, but a sim with the Green Thumb trait can revive the plant and get one more fruiting. However, the revival can randomly fail. You can't lose anything by trying, because you can plant the harvested Death Flower again, to try for that second fruiting.

use this cheat "lifetime happiness" and get the reward called "collector's helper" which will be placed in your sim's inventory. click on the "collector's helper(orange butterfly)" and click again on "find seeds" and go nearby the graveyard to look for rare seeds :)

But what does it do kill ur sims when they eat it or somthin?what if a ghost ate it? lots of questions i know!

The Death Flower can be found around the Grave Yard and I think the Science Building (not 100% sure). Having the flower in your sims inventory makes Death go away and take the flower rather than your sims life instead.
