yeah, like ez said, electro harmonix polychorus. i used to have that pedal. Thats the pedal heard on almost every song on in utero. Heart shaped box, gallons of rubbing alchohol, scentless apprentice, you name it. if it's an effect on in utero and not the same ol' come as you are/teen spirit chorus (which this pedal also can do though not EXACTLY like the EHX small clone chorus) its the polychorus. bad ass little pedal in my opinion. =)

If you are talking about effects for the intro and screeching throughout the song its a Vintage Electro Harmonix Polychorus or Echoflanger. Basically the same effects, just different paint job. It must be a vintage one though, the reissues don't cut it. And the distortion is a Tech 21 SansAmp Original. I had this set up and it sounded perfect but ended up selling it cos I needed the cash. If you want to buy these two effects it will cost you a lot of money. Neither are made anymore.
