@4Ventus dont speak for america, its much too large and formed by a multicultural body of people. Many americans speak spanish, french, german, arabic, hindi, etc. AMERICAN does not neccessarily mean caucasian english monolingual. I think this is important to keep in mind, to avoid ethnocentrism and malapropism.

@k3ngarbage You're silly. Our country has no official language. Which means you speak what you like. You know, only 76% of the population speaks English. There are 32 million Spanish speaking people in the US. 4 million French speaking people as well.
She says that the film starts in the year that he was born, but that was 1987, non 1989, like the movie... Well, actually she says that in "the period", so it's not actually wrong, but still :P
