@anger123 download pdfCreator->extract the .cbr file with 7-zip or with any other->make sure the extracted files are sorted alphabetically, sort it by name if not->select all the extracted images->rightclick and select print and print using the pdfcreator virtual printer to get a pdf. use this pdf with the converter.

btw i am thinking of including some sort of easier method in future version.

im trying to put a book on my psp called house of leaves. i was able to do everything except change my pdf into whatever format that bat file is trying to make. it says my pdf is like version 1.6 and the BAT can only read 1.5 or something... am i just doing something wrong here, or will it really not work?

@fkgiggles google for and download and install pdfcreator and use it to reprint the pdf through the virtual pdfCreator printer. it will work.

There is no "INPUTPDF" folder or an "OUTPUT" folder when I extract it. The only folders it gives me are "booklauncher" and "SYSTEMFILES" and two files EBOOK UTILITY and the readme file.

@thebbcamerican its strange! still it doesnt matter as the missing folders are empty by default. create a new folder by the name "INPUTPDF" and "OUTPUT".

I think I have found the solution about the problem "content can not be displayed", using adobe reader 9 PRO I export my pdf in pdf/a. I dont know why it fixed the problem but now I can carry in my psp the ff xiii official guide in pdf thanks to you :)

@takarosthegreek there is some compatibility issues with the converter. i also noticed that some pdfs led to "content cannot be displayed" problem were solved when i created a new pdf out of them using pdfCreator. i will try to do something about it in the next version. Thanx for the info

NEED HELP!!!

The program didn't even create the html file for my pdf!!!!!!!!!! all it made was a test.bat. when i ran that some .js file appeared. neither of them work PLZ HELP!!!

@eragon1947 looks like some files are missing. reinstall the files. Also try running it with administrator rights.

Also there are few issues while converting few pdf versions. try a different PDF and no such error will be thrown

@Doowdle use a pdf printer like pdfCreator or Bullzip pdf printer to print any file type to pdf and then use the converter of nims psp ebook reader. if the txt file is small, u may easily open it directly from the psp browser.

i use a custom firmware. listening your prob, i installed 6.20 OFW( i can revert back to CFW usin pandora battery). i tested and faced no probs.

so u might be doin smthin wrong.

take a luk at the vid again and make sure you are doing everything correctly after the conversion. also copy the whole folder(not just the index.html file) which was created by the conversion program.

@11nims I am using PSP3000 with a 6.20 OFW. The default index.html can be opened but the pdf file that I converted into a HTML file is the one having the "The content cannot be displayed" message. When I tried to input the file:/PSP/COMMON/BOOK/index.ht ml, it still says "The content cannot be displayed". Thanks a lot for your fast reply.

I get "The content cannot be displayed." Already tried to reconvert the file but the same thing happens. I can open the file on my Firefox browser and it can show the file perfectly.

try to enter the address of index.html(in the book folder) in the address bar of the psp browser instead of using the booklauncher(its a bit buggy).

eg. if u have ur index.html in PSP/COMMON/BOOK , then write file:/PSP/COMMON/BOOK/index.ht­ml

There's one pdf that when I put it through converting it, all of my pages were blank at first and then when I deleted it and tried again later, there were no pages at all.

try opening the index.html of the converted book with firefox or internet explorer from the PC(google chrome wont do)

also try skipping to farther pages and see if the pages are loading.

Hey v1.5 is much better than the first, mainly because v1.0 wouldnt load if you had a lot of ebooks. The only problem I'm having (and seems like another is having too) Is the book launcher you created doesn't show the books, it gives a ''content cannot be displayed message." But when i use pspicy's offline launcher 2, it loads it perfectly. Probably would be an easy fix for you though.

Thanks for the program man, you made reading ebooks a real option on the psp!

the booklauncher seems to be buggy with many PSP's. i made it in quite a hurry, so i wasnt able to check it on other PSP's while releasing. i am sorry 4 that, but i will fix it ASAP.

eg. if your index is at PSP/COMMON/BOOKS/abc/index.htm­l

enter the following in the address bar of the psp browser-:

file:/PSP/COMMON/BOOKS/abc/ind­ex.html

or you can use the file browser of any psp browser portal to openthe index file.
