@hannahr77 In a sense it is but not one that is meant to do harm. It is to create a variance and a choice in you. It is the way that every Christian should go for real sinners by preaching. It is the only way you will know. We would never physically harm you. Our message is one of love but it is one that needs a breaking of a hardened heart in the heart of every muslim. So yes, in order to achieve that goal, we have to confront you through preaching.

He was born of a virgin, living a life here showing us the heart of the Father whom He had seen and knew intimately and then died a brutal death on a Roman cross as a propitiation for our sins. @projectpaki God's objective was to destroy the works of the devil using beings created in His image. Original sin is a concept that Augustine came up with that is not consistent with the entire counsel of Scripture. For example, we are called to be as little children. Matt 18:3. Why be like a child if children are full of sin? I am not guilty of Adam's sin. I'm guilty of my own. I was given a conscience, the knowledge of good and evil and the law written on my heart.
@veraberry for some reason, according to Christianity, the original sin is so powerful that God had to sacrifice himself in order to forgive man, the devil (who God created) is just as powerful as the Almighty, and God created man in His image like Adam who turned out to be a sinner... if u truly believe our gods are different, then urs is weak... @projectpaki I have studied the Bible for 37 years and sat under a great deal of teaching. According to this position that you claim to be true, we would be guilty of Adam's sin. When you compare that doctrine to Scripture, it gives man great excuse for his sin. After all, he couldn't help but sin. He was born sinning. And what I'm telling you is that this ideology is false. @projectpaki An all powerful God can control His power so that we are free to come to Him by our own choice through faith and we are also free to obey. In that way, we are capable of making God's enemy His footstool. We don't do that through force or murder but by persuasion and love. Because we have no excuse for our sin, God was willing to atone for it while accomplishing His main goal which was defeating satan. Satan didn't think God would do it, but He did. He lived a human life without sin.
@projectpaki It is really better that God initiated this event in the last 2000 years of the 50,000 years of mankind. He was then able to redeem many who were before the cross and change the hearts of many after the cross. We are special in that we were born during this time because we have the power of God to be free. They didn't. The Bible teaches that Jesus preached in hell, btw. People kept God's commandments before the cross. Luke 1:6 says this, Nathaniel was a man without guile.

It creates a hypocrisy in us. For example, you may want a diamond ring. But you won't steal it because you don't want the unpleasant experience of going to jail. You may hate someone. @projectpaki Temptation is not sin. Jesus was tempted yet He didn't entertain sin. He took His thoughts captive. The Bible is a powerful book that is also a means to defeat the enemy. The stronger I am in the Lord, the less these things are a draw for me. If someone has offended you and you allow yourself to be bitter, that is sin. I repented to God for that and asked Him to cover my sin with His blood and was set free from the torment of bitterness.
@projectpaki We have a righteousness that comes to us by faith knowing that we are incapable of pleasing God in our own strength. So He imparts through His Spirit to us a power that the Bible calls grace and it saves us. We receive more of this grace through suffering in ways we would never choose. And that's good news, my friend. Because God is not polluting heaven with your dirty feet or mine. But He can purify us now because of Jesus. You can be free!!

Every man at some point chooses to entertain sin because the law cannot make you righteous inwardly to the point that you are no longer lusting, coveting, bitter. Once you give into sin, it becomes a bondage. You are further guilty. @projectpaki Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. These are parts of the One true God. As seen in creation, the Spirit was hovering over the waters of the primordial earth. Jesus walked in the garden. The heart of God remained in heaven. To an earthbound Jesus who was God living as a man just like you and me, He referred to the heart of God as "the Father."

People did not know what these communications meant and so they assumed it was one way, when in fact it was another. Have you ever heard of Reasons to Believe? They have free podcasts on iTunes and a web site full of great science articles using peer reviewed research, not contrived things to make science fit the Bible. I love to talk about this topic.

Personally, I've alway struggled to see how science and religion can be aligned together. One is based on dogma and unquestioning faith - what some may call blind faith - and the other on theories that have been reviewed, tested, and corrected over the centuries.

Most of us do not drink, gamble, smoke, murder, steal etc... the crime rates in Muslim countries are much lower than those of countries where the population is mostly christian.... the difference is that Muslims feel bad and repent when they sin but Christians don't feel the need for that since they are "free from their sin"

However, it's the vast majority of Muslims (not all) that avoid those major sins for their entire lives by the Grace of God!
Thankfully, Islam teaches us that even if you are weak and are overtaken by your desires and commit one of those sins.... as long as you worship ONLY GOD and turn to ONLY HIM for forgiveness, HE will forgive your EVERY sin with the exception of dying while making any kind of partner with Him in His worship.... like worshipping His creation, Jesus. The problem with Islam, as with all other false religions, is that there is no propitiation for sin. God (Allah) cannot be fully just without having punished sin utterly. The Scriptures (OT and New - injeel) teach us that to commit even one sin means we must face death. It is only through Jesus Christ (Isa) taking this burden on our behalf, that we are able to enter Heaven (Paradise).
First of all, if the punishment for sin is death AND Jesus died to forgive all sin then you shouldn't die.... ever. I mean, why do YOU have to face the punishment of sin (death) when Jesus already died to pay for those sins? It doesn't make sense.
Islam teaches us that we are all responsible for our own sins and we will be punished and rewarded based on our beliefs and actions on Judgement Day... God also tells us He forgives sins so if He forgives and does not punish for a sin that's just.
I don't think that's tenable. The Bible teaches that the gift of God is eternal life, provided through Jesus' death on the cross. But what use is any gift if we refuse to accept it? The punishment for all sins has already occured, but only for the sins of those who have decided to accept that gift.
Think of it as Jesus sacrificing himself to throw you a lifering as you drown. If you refuse to accept it it will do you no good.
So then you, who claim to believe in what you're preaching, should not die since Jesus already died to forgive your sins... while the rest of us, who don't believe the lie of worshipping any part of creation including a man, would be the only ones dying since we "reject" the gift you claim to have.
You got it in one. Whilst a Christian's physical body may die in this world our soul will never die; and upon the second coming we will be given glorified human bodies no longer bound by sin and death.
When my child does something wrong and shows no signs of regret for anything other than getting caught I punish him.... however, if he does something wrong but comes to me, tells me about it and asks me to forgive him... showing me he's truly remorseful... I may let him slide on the punishment because I feel like he's already learned his lesson from it... am I being unjust towards him because I don't punish him for something he sincerely regrets doing and asked for forgiveness?
You're basing your analogy upon a human parent/child relationship. Whilst God may be loving; and desires to see all his children repent and trust in Christ, he is also just. Supposing you were a judge, and your son came before you having murdered thousands of people - in your position you cannot forgive him without compromising who you are; so instead you have to sentence him to death, but then you step down from your chair and take the punishment in his place, if he choses to let you do so.
You're the one who believe God is YOUR father so that's the analogy I used for YOU. I believe God is my Creator and Master and is well within His rights to either punish me or forgive me for anything He so choses and remains Perfectly Just in doing so.
BTW, you are also using an analogy based on human emotions and limitations. Of course, if someone murders someone in this life WE have to punish them to ensure they do not cause more harm to the society because WE don't know the hearts.

The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, someone has to die to pay the penalty of sin.

God is a God of justice - you have said that yourself. How can God be "fully" just if he does not punish sin? The Islamic view of God's justice and God's mercy simply can't be reconciled. God has written that the wages of all sin, no matter how small, is death. And unless there is that propitiation justice will not be done.
I'd ask you not to blaspheme - Jesus never committed sin. As the sinless spotless lamb of God he wasn't even able to sin. How could Jesus, being God, sin?
I see that God, in his wisdom, saw that the only way that sinners might be saved without compromising his justice was to pay the penalty on our behalf. Was justice done? Yes - sin was punished. Should God have determined to bestow his grace upon us? No, I don't think so. we simply have done nothing to deserve it. That's why its so amazing.

I stand by my belief that God does not need any kind of outside source for Him to be able to forgive sins. He is God, He can do what He wants. You shouldn't blaspheme by saying that God is finite when your book claims He is eternal.
Jesus died on the Cross. You can't dispute that. For three days Jesus suffered the punishment of God the Father because in those days Jesus took the entire weight of our sin upon himself. God fully poured out his judgement upon that sin and the price was paid.
Of course God is infinite and of course God could theoretically do whatever he wants. But do you think that means that God could sin? Of course not. Here the same principle applies. God will always take the shortest path to His glory.

God can do all things BUT He doesn't do things that are not befitting of His Majesty like die, have children, come out of a woman's private parts, eat, deficate, urinate, lie, and a host of other things but again I stress He doesn't DIE!

Jesus was "begotten of God"; not that he was created. Whereas Adam and Eve were both "created". The islamic view of virginal conception makes no sense. Either Jesus was a man or he was not. Either his father was Joesph or he was begotten of the Holy Spirit. Your view of the immaculate conception only reinforces the notion that Jesus was begotten of God.

The Old Testament denies that God comes in the flesh, it says that God is neither a man, nor the son of man. That was written centuries before Paul, and then later the gospel writers, wrote of Jesus (pbuh) as the son of man.
Who was walking in the garden with Adam and Eve? Who appeared to Manoah's wife? Who talked to Job? Who destroyed Sodom and Gomorra? Who was Melchizedek? There are some contradictions in the Old and New Testament. I think Jesus is even supposed to say in the New Testament that no one has ever seen or heard God. The Qur'an corrects these stories where they deviated from truth. Jeremiah 8:8 will give you at least a partial answer how the scriptures became so corrupted. Also, the promised son refers to the firstborn son, and the firstborn son was Ishmael, not Isaac.

I believe that no prophet commits sins, they can make mistakes though, but I certainly don't attribute the sins mentioned in the Bible to the prophets, including what it attributes to Jesus (pbuh). In the Qur'an, we are told that Jesus was kind and dutiful to his mother. The bible says that he was not. In fact, he is portrayed in the New Testament as being very rude to his mother, even calling her "Woman" and saying "what have I to do with you?" at one point.
Mary was trying to get Jesus to show Himself to the world. We know that from John 7 because it is the same response that He gives to His friends. His showing Himself to the world would be through His resurrection, not doing parlor tricks. Yes, He told her that she was not the One in charge. But because of the 5th commandment, He did what she asked.
I am not wholly convinced that this was supposed to be the first miracle though and that particular one has caused many to falsely believe that Jesus made alcohol for people to get drunk at weddings. But for sin's sake, He did what she requested. He honored her request. It was not a mistake on His part, but hers. He did the next right thing. And for that, He never sinned not even once. I meant to say "family" in John 7. They had no idea that His purpose was to die on the cross.
God requires a BLOOD SACRIFICE for SIN. Muslim will not enter the Kingdom of God because they do not have a BLOOD SACRIFICE, Muhammad did not die for the sins of the world and on the third day rise from the died Jesus came out of heaven, left his glory in heaven and became a man, lived a perfect life and died a brutal death, our BLOOD SACRIFICE. It is the only way you will know. We would never physically harm you. Our message is one of love but it is one that needs a breaking of a hardened heart in the heart of every muslim. So yes, in order to achieve that goal, we have to confront you through preaching.

@projectpaki God's objective was to destroy the works of the devil using beings created in His image. Original sin is a concept that Augustine came up with that is not consistent with the entire counsel of Scripture. For example, we are called to be as little children. Matt 18:3. Why be like a child if children are full of sin? I am not guilty of Adam's sin. I'm guilty of my own. I was given a conscience, the knowledge of good and evil and the law written on my heart.

In that way, we are capable of making God's enemy His footstool. We don't do that through force or murder but by persuasion and love. He was then able to redeem many who were before the cross and change the hearts of many after the cross. We are special in that we were born during this time because we have the power of God to be free. They didn't. The Bible teaches that Jesus preached in hell, btw. @projectpaki Temptation is not sin. Jesus was tempted yet He didn't entertain sin. He took His thoughts captive. The Bible is a powerful book that is also a means to defeat the enemy. The stronger I am in the Lord, the less these things are a draw for me. If someone has offended you and you allow yourself to be bitter, that is sin. I repented to God for that and asked Him to cover my sin with His blood and was set free from the torment of bitterness.

So He imparts through His Spirit to us a power that the Bible calls grace and it saves us. We receive more of this grace through suffering in ways we would never choose. Every man at some point chooses to entertain sin because the law cannot make you righteous inwardly to the point that you are no longer lusting, coveting, bitter. Jesus walked in the garden. The heart of God remained in heaven. To an earthbound Jesus who was God living as a man just like you and me, He referred to the heart of God as "the Father."

Science is one of my favorite things too. I have studied a great deal to see that it is in harmony with Scripture. People did not know what these communications meant and so they assumed it was one way, when in fact it was another. Have you ever heard of Reasons to Believe? They have free podcasts on iTunes and a web site full of great science articles using peer reviewed research, not contrived things to make science fit the Bible. I love to talk about this topic.

Personally, I've alway struggled to see how science and religion can be aligned together. One is based on dogma and unquestioning faith - what some may call blind faith - and the other on theories that have been reviewed, tested, and corrected over the centuries.
I believe the nature of science is to question everything, whereas the nature of religion is to question nothing. I shall take a look at the RtB site, however - cheers!

Most of us do not drink, gamble, smoke, murder, steal etc... the crime rates in Muslim countries are much lower than those of countries where the population is mostly christian.... the difference is that Muslims feel bad and repent when they sin but Christians don't feel the need for that since they are "free from their sin"

The problem with Islam, as with all other false religions, is that there is no propitiation for sin. God (Allah) cannot be fully just without having punished sin utterly. The Scriptures (OT and New - injeel) teach us that to commit even one sin means we must face death. It is only through Jesus Christ (Isa) taking this burden on our behalf, that we are able to enter Heaven (Paradise).

First of all, if the punishment for sin is death AND Jesus died to forgive all sin then you shouldn't die.... ever. I mean, why do YOU have to face the punishment of sin (death) when Jesus already died to pay for those sins? It doesn't make sense.

I don't think that's tenable. The Bible teaches that the gift of God is eternal life, provided through Jesus' death on the cross. But what use is any gift if we refuse to accept it? The punishment for all sins has already occured, but only for the sins of those who have decided to accept that gift.
Think of it as Jesus sacrificing himself to throw you a lifering as you drown. If you refuse to accept it it will do you no good.

You're basing your analogy upon a human parent/child relationship. Whilst God may be loving; and desires to see all his children repent and trust in Christ, he is also just. Supposing you were a judge, and your son came before you having murdered thousands of people - in your position you cannot forgive him without compromising who you are; so instead you have to sentence him to death, but then you step down from your chair and take the punishment in his place, if he choses to let you do so.

Jesus died on the Cross. You can't dispute that. For three days Jesus suffered the punishment of God the Father because in those days Jesus took the entire weight of our sin upon himself. God fully poured out his judgement upon that sin and the price was paid.
Of course God is infinite and of course God could theoretically do whatever he wants. But do you think that means that God could sin? Of course not. Here the same principle applies. God will always take the shortest path to His glory.

The date that manuscript copies were found says nothing about the date of their original authorship.

Mohammed performed no miracles to testify to his status as a Prophet of God, there were no witnesses to the conversations he supposedly had with the angel Gabriel, finally Mohammed is dead and buried at Medina. You can take this up with your own bible scholars because it is they who say the 4 gospels that tell the life of Jesus were written 50 to 70 years after his time by anonymous authors... not the men who followed Jesus whose names were given to those books. That's what BIBLE scholars say so don't blame me.

That's what SECULAR scholars say, not what true Bible scholars say. Secular scholars will also say things like that Jesus never existed etc. Their findings are blinded by their preconceptions. They find what they want to find.
Almost any serious Biblical scholar will tell you that the copies of manuscripts we currently have were written by the men they say they were written by.

When will you practice it in its fullness and repent from your worship of a man, the Messiah Jesus (pbuh)? A man who ate, drank, used the restroom, and was circumcised and baptized? Any yet you prefer a man you can relate to instead of God. Was God in Heaven not enough?

I am fairly convinced that the anti-christ will come through islam. I have never seen that until I started talking to muslims and saw that their attack against Jesus is always the same and that is denying that God came in the flesh. 1 John 4 It makes perfect sense since so many "Christians" have come out of us but were not of us.

There is only one religious group that would think they were doing God a favor by killing an innocent person and that is islamic fundamentalists and their passive brothers who sit on the sidelines and do nothing. As shown by your inability to reconcile the New Testament with itself, you have to twist and add conjecture in order to smooth out contradictions, it causes you to lie about scripture, and that is a big sin. The biggest sin is to attribute partners to God. The text does not say that and that you claim that's what happened is you making up a story. So see, you really haven't been set free from your sins, you can't even reconcile the versions of the different authors of the NT without making up lies.

No one is set free by any man, whether it be Muhammad or Jesus (peace be upon both of them).
You are only allowed to enter Heaven by God's will and mercy, and His mercy is not for those who deny Him in His perfect oneness, and it is not for those who give part of his divinity away to another, such as the man Jesus (pbuh), unless they repent of their evil and worship God alone.
You said you were set free from sin, but you are still committing the worst sin, which is ascribing partners to God.

The muslims that receive the Holy Spirit do not call God allah. That term came about after the Bible was written.
"God" is an English word. Yahweh, I AM that I AM is the ONE TRUE GOD. He created the heavens and the earth and He came to this earth in the greatest act of love to redeem us from our sins. He took the punishment upon Himself. He is GREAT, WORTHY, and HOLY IS HIS NAME!! He is truthful. He is full of compassion and mercy and will redeem you if you believe.

YHWH is just one of the names of God in Judaism. He is also called HaShem and Eloh and Adonai. Jesus (pbuh) used the word Elohnu (our God) in Hebrew. Allah was and still is the name for God in Arabic for the Jewish and Christian Arabs. It is directly related to the Hebrew word Eloh.
And again, you repeat this misguided notion that God has to take punishment on Himself in order to forgive sins. You are still doubting about God's mercy? God has to kill Himself first for you to receive His mercy?

The Old Testament denies that God comes in the flesh, it says that God is neither a man, nor the son of man. That was written centuries before Paul, and then later the gospel writers, wrote of Jesus (pbuh) as the son of man.

Who was walking in the garden with Adam and Eve? Who appeared to Manoah's wife? Who talked to Job? Who destroyed Sodom and Gomorra? Who was Melchizedek? Who came to Abraham and told him that he would have a son? (BTW, this is all about this one point in time. Was the promised son Ishmael or Isaac?) It was Isaac and the Messiah came through him. Mohammed was a sinner.

There are some contradictions in the Old and New Testament. I think Jesus is even supposed to say in the New Testament that no one has ever seen or heard God. The Qur'an corrects these stories where they deviated from truth. Jeremiah 8:8 will give you at least a partial answer how the scriptures became so corrupted. Also, the promised son refers to the firstborn son, and the firstborn son was Ishmael, not Isaac.
Muhammad was not a sinner, and I challenge you to show me even one.

You say that I am limiting God's works, but you are the one who is limiting His mercy to a single bloody act and saying that He can not give His mercy without that bloody act. You're so grossed out by the idea of rags bloodied by a woman's menses, but being washed in the blood of a man sounds perfectly all right to you? Both kinds of blood get bacteria in them and get bad smells as a result. In the sacrifices of the Jews, it was not the blood that God wanted, but it was the obedience.

I believe that no prophet commits sins, they can make mistakes though, but I certainly don't attribute the sins mentioned in the Bible to the prophets, including what it attributes to Jesus (pbuh). In the Qur'an, we are told that Jesus was kind and dutiful to his mother. The bible says that he was not. In fact, he is portrayed in the New Testament as being very rude to his mother, even calling her "Woman" and saying "what have I to do with you?" at one point.

Mary was trying to get Jesus to show Himself to the world. We know that from John 7 because it is the same response that He gives to His friends. His showing Himself to the world would be through His resurrection, not doing parlor tricks. Yes, He told her that she was not the One in charge. But because of the 5th commandment, He did what she asked.

I am not wholly convinced that this was supposed to be the first miracle though and that particular one has caused many to falsely believe that Jesus made alcohol for people to get drunk at weddings. But for sin's sake, He did what she requested. He honored her request. It was not a mistake on His part, but hers. He did the next right thing. And for that, He never sinned not even once. I meant to say "family" in John 7. They had no idea that His purpose was to die on the cross.

Muslim will not enter the Kingdom of God because they do not have a BLOOD SACRIFICE, Muhammad did not die for the sins of the world and on the third day rise from the died Jesus came out of heaven, left his glory in heaven and became a man, lived a perfect life and died a brutal death, our BLOOD SACRIFICE.
