you WILL be famous one day. never stop playing man no matter how much fun your friends have drinking and doing other stupid things never let anything else get in the way of youre playing. you'll be happy you never stopped.
i still play but i'm a few years older than you and i've stopped a couple times in my life and i wish i had just kept going.
One thing I love about this piece transcribed for classical guitar is the sustain on the strings gives a very nice harmonic quality to the piece that you don't experience when it's played on the Cello. Although I have to admit I'm so used to hearing it in G that it's intially jarring to hear it in Eb. But it sounds lovely.
wow, great job! im 13 and ive been playing this piece for a little while, and it is, although easy to learn, incredibly difficult to master. you execute it very well (although im probably not worthy of giving any criticism whatsoever). how long have you been playing?
Hello boy, très belle interprétation ! bravo !!! C'est vraiment très bien joué pour un jeune homme comme toi, encore bravo ! Can you give yourself the tablatures please? Mickaël de France.
Hey man, very nice job on this piece. Great acoustics from your bathroom too haha, I do this...my mum thinks I'm crazy :P You deserve a better quality classical guitar if you're playing pieces like this at your age though. Thankyou.
Very Nice Playing, like your version alot. Love the fact you are playing in the bathroom, only guitarists do that. I am 44 and I still play in the bathroom. Keep up the great work.
What I mean, was you can tell how physically involved he is in playing the music. Playing an instrument is so much more than just the sounds you make.
Hmm. No, I think I'm going to be a purist and disagree with you. Music is music, for listening to - all possible effort I think should go into producing a wonderful emotional sound. I think it looks much more masterful too, keeping still.
This was the very first pievec of music to sort of shake my soul up about twenty years ago. It remains my favorite, and watching you fall into playing it makes me feel a little less alone in the world.
A remarkable young man. Keep working hard and opportunities will doubtless find you.
beautiful playing!!!!!! i am about ur age and i go to juilliard. just a tip for your nails, mabye they're at a funny angle or have corners so buff them ALOT and your sound will be AMAZING.
Very nicely played, very musical and natural. It's like you're talking to us. I think yours is one of the nicest performances of this piece on YouTube.
Uhm, your 'name' doesn't do you justice. Feel free to change it. Nevertheless, I feel that I've received the ultimate compiment after viewing your videos. Wow. I feel that I know what to look for technically and with regard to artistry. I so appreciate your kind review!
@PoopPoopFart Jeffo's comentary about you made check your contribution and I must confessthat I really
was impressed at the amount of talent you displayed. Congrats. Please post some more with the same singer. She has some style and beauty in her singing. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for your kind compliment! Bach is hard to play, given expectations of a metronome/canned presentation. Putting feeling into his pieces is dicey at best. And thanks for compliments on my sound studio. It's the best I can do right now. :)
Thanks very much for your comment. I really appreciate the encouragement. I understand that Bach wrote SDG (Soli Deo Gloria), which means something like 'For the greater glory of God'. As far as practicing goes, I practice most every day for maybe an hour & 15 min's or so.
Great question! One reason is the acoustics of all the tile. It seems to sharpen the sound of the nylon strings. The other, perhaps more important reason, is that I've never been rejected by the toilet. Sometimes a neutral audience is just perfect. :)
I read that you played with some Chen Zhi's students in a competition, right?? Can you tell me something about the first place winner?? what pieces did he play?? you are good man
Hey- Great to hear from you. A song by Roland Dyens (piece?) by the 1st place winner and La Catedral by Barrios by the 3rd place winner (both Chen Zhi's students) are all that come to mind. Thanks.
Thanks very, very much for the encouragement. I played in front of some big-wigs in Austin today and at least they didn't throw tomatoes. So, I guess I did OK! I appreciate your comments and your rating!!!!
Please do post more pieces as you get the chance. It's apparent how much you love and appreciate this great music, and that's a joy to see. You also encourage me in my practice -- I'm nowhere NEAR your level, but ... at least I get encouragement! :)
Wonderful! Your interpretation of this Bach piece is very good. I keep playing this piece more than 20 years but your play teach me some hits of improvement of my play. Please upload some other pieces. Very well done!
good to see a young kid not spraying some brainless scribbling grafity(is this the english word?)at walls or making trouble in school.... keep on playing, this is a super guitar performance.u get 5-stars from me
