Went to the Download section, and I got a TK3online application. I get stuck when it asks me for the TK3online.iso .*The documentation didn't help there. Is it just the same as any other Tekken 3.iso or does it have some additional bells and whistles, if the later where to get it?

PS: The app is 19mb, so I figure it comes without the game itself.

yes, the page that's in the description is partly in english.. when you click "Download" it takes you to a page that's in polish but the links there are all mirrors from where you can download Tk3Online..

Depends on what's complicated for you.

If you follow the link that's in the description, there's a link called "Documentation" make sure you read that after you've downloaded and installed that.

The process of getting it to work is harder than with a regular game but this isn't a regular PC game, it's a playstation game running in an emulator with a network plugin.

But even a 10 year old can install it if he takes the time and thinks a little.

You're too far to play with any Europeans because of the distance, the ping would be too big.

You can play with what ever controller you want.. keyboard, joystick, gamepad, arcade stick.. you can probably even use a wheel if it has buttons on it.

Play with people who have low ping and play on servers where you have low ping, that's all.

I jave a pc gamepad and it works just like a PS1/PS2 controller, but I use my keyboard to play tekken.

there isn't a way..

when you start TK3Online:

1. ePSXe is started

2. the game iso is defined..

3. kaillera plugin is started

then when the host clicks "start"

4. the game iso is loaded and the GPU will show the picture.

5. when you close the window where you see the game, epsxe should unload the iso and restart all the plugins except kaillera but that doesn't happen.

It's kinda like a bug in ePSXe or kaillera client.. well actually not a bug but rather the programming was not complete.

You're right about online being a little bit shitty but you don't have to leave your home to play against another person.. and when you find someone who's more or less equal to you, you can ask if he would like to play with you using P2P, with P2P connection there's less chance for lag and the matches are very enjoyable.

IMO hwoarang is a very punisheable character using reversals (or counters). Because he do more than 4 or 5 high movements at row, so using paul, jin or another character will be punished easily ^_^ (well, i do a lot of counter punish in that case ;))

Just a question. Since Bury seemed hell bent using his charge finish, why didn't he attempt it after all of the sky-high lauchers Hwaorang executes his launchers he successfully did? Is it that it's not possible to connect the two?

In some way it's like an unfair move and for example I almost never use it in a friendly match.

The second combo, which was less used but perhaps even more effective will not work off a counter hit because you need to get to the side, and skyrocket on counter hit will keep them aligned with you in T3, no matter which way you go. You can use this one if you skyrocket to whiff punish...(see below)

skyrocket, side step right quickly canceled to flamingo which includes a slight sidestep, too. Left punch from flamingo, and then a 1-2 punch. Since you came to the side, if you did this right they flip over face down. ff+x will either hit for unscaled damage on the ground, or leave them back turned if they try to stand...

I think that's how I remember it all going. It's been years since I played Tekken 3. First got it almost 10 yrs ago. I've been playing Tekken 6 for about a year and Bloodline Rebellion releases to arcades this month.

Yes that was easier for me to understand... I do know what the 1,2,3,4 buttons are.. I had to learn multithrows from gamefaqs using those but that's basically the only time I looked up how to do something. I'm guessing RFS means right flamingo stance and that's when he's standing on his right leg and I know CD has something to do with arrows but I haven't bothered to learn them.

I just play for fun.

Though I only watched half the vid, I seem to remember him having much better combos of Skyrocket (CD+4, 3+4, RFS f+3,(3),3,4, RFF 3 as well as on non CH skyrocket, CD+4, ssr~f+3, [LFF] 1, 1,2 ff+3 ... they are face down and away, so if they try to wakeup into the ff+3, you get free RFS f+4~4, f+3, [LFF]4 off of it.

I also didn't see any 3xSS in here. I thought I remembered it being in tact back in 3. Is it that they had to deal with lag in this netted up version, or what?

I'm not really good at reading those commands, I mostly do combos I've seen someone use and figured out on my own on practice.

About the lag thing.. if the 2 players have low ping and the fps stays at 60 all the time, you can do everything you could do on a real PSX/PS2, the timing would be the same.

It's usually played through a centralized server but you can also play using peer-to-peer technology, without a centralized server the connection is only between the players and therefore faster.

It's not hard at all.. while you're standing on your right leg( you can get in that stance by pressing forward+X for example but there are other ways too)... so while you're standing on your right leg, press square+circle.

And to cancel it press or tap the back arrow.

luc_october isn't a file name, it's an alias/nickname of the guy who made the custom outfits.. if you download tk3online you'll get the tekken3 cd image (.iso file) where the custom outfits are already in.

It's too difficult for ePSXe and the kaillera to synchronize the sound between the 2 games.. You can enable sounds and possibly play with sound over Local Area Network but not over the internet, the game will go out of sync very fast when you play with sounds over the internet.

Sounds are just disabled, you can enable them if you want to play against CPU but disable them when playing online. When the game goes out of sync it's pointless to play and when the other person sees that the game went out of sync at the beginning of the game, they usually disconnect from you without saying anything.

the kaillera server is offline, so is the website.. just choose a server from the "Recent" page. or google for kaillera servers and add them yourself. There are a few servers listed on the honmaru website, link is in the video description.

There are servers in Asia but most of the tekken players are playing on European servers.. If you want to play with a friend who lives near you, you can setup your own server... google for "kaillera server", setup the server and tell your friend to enter your ip.
