I take it that white attracts the particles and black repels them and grey is neutral. What determines the tether? Is it distance oriented? Also, it appears there is a third dimension (up) inferred, is that correct?

i love this! the way the harmony changes seems so elegant. how are the magnetic fields changing overtime? and also how did you get the sounds into processing?
