how can you tell if you got 2500 instead of 2000

if you have nvidia card you have 2000. if you have ATI you have 2500. video card.

Select the 2500 model or any others with ATi video chipsets. Nvidia has a serious batch of bad GeForce cards sent to manufacturers. They overheat very quickly and fault so that nothing is displayed. My DV2404ca lappy sufferd this and repaired under HP Extended Maintenace for FREE beyond 1yr standard warranty. They even offerd me a new warranty!!

Hi, this is mragarg. I like your overview of the tx2500z. But i notice something that you made a mistake about and that is that the laptop you have is tx2000z not tx2500z. But once again great overviews of the laptop.

I have the tx2500z. All tx2500z's have "tx2000" on them because they are in the tx2000 product line. None of them say "tx2500"

right if you hear anything state side let know have you done any mods or have you installed linux etc.. What OS are you using im on Vista 32 home, great laptab can now read my pdf like a book my only gripe is the weight and the heat. I have an 8 cell battery + 4 cell apart from that is fab. Oh have you seen any site that show the hp tx2000 taken apart so you can see the motherboard etc..

thanks for the videos, I just got mine today. (and I used these vids to help me decide). I thought about getting the lenovo but it was too expensive. Surprisngly the gollsy screen doesn't bother me at all and I can read it very well.The stylus is awesome too. Thankyou for helping me decide on such a great computer

The only difference is the processor speeds and the RAM.

It's not really that hard, just look at the specifications for each model. Nothing on the outside will be changed. Only the speed will change (correlative to the prices).
