Christ, the case design is just asking for a disaster to happen, cardboard + power supply without case => I'd be really afraid that it could fry all my network devices by shorting mains to NIC via mobo ^^ otherwise - great project, it's cool to reuse old computers :)
i plan to do something like this some day except with a lot more ethernet NICs, and i originally planned to install debian and setup everything myself but i might try out slax router.
as a useful tip to people - if you use a computer as a router, you could also use it as a web host or ftp server. that way, its multi-functional and would save you a lot of money
i tried to download the lastest version but i can't reach the web configuration interface on 192.168.0.1 :/ any ideas?

@schmidtbag I do this, except I use VM's and vlan's. Much more secure when running other stuff, in particular things like a webserver.
