My remedy: Forget Windows on that PC and install Xubuntu. XFCE! :D
But honestly, to those with the same problem, try installing a 64-Bit version of Windows (or 32-Bit, if that's your case) and see if the problem still persists. If so, it's something that you installed. If not, then try letting a Ubuntu build fix it.
how can i go to recovery console it goes directly to formating menu ,it doesent ask me if i want to recovery or anty thing als it just goes directly to the memory space menu to install xp or create partition or delete them ,waht sud i do ?? pleas help
me too and after that the blue screen of death is always shown up and Ive tried to install windows 7, the process is not working But the cd that Ive use is 100 percent working and tested in other computer how can I repair it?
It's probably a power management issue from the computer itself. Basically, the computer shuts down a tad too early, before Windows is actually ready to handle the shutdown over to the computer.
Check with HP for: BIOS updates, Power Management-updates, ACSI updates.
