Hi. I was wondering something. The prefolds that come in the package/kit can be used as a full diaper with snappi's such as in your video right? and then put the cover/shell on and snap. Do you find yourself using extra liners at certain times with the prefold? THANKS :)
@bourne2flyy The prefold that comes with the kit (without the snappi) is quite absorbent. As with all prefolds they become more absorbent after multiple washings. I prefer pockets over prefolds and covers so I didn't use it that much. I can tell you that one prefold and cover lasted me a few hours with no troubles. I suppose a liner would give you an extra hour or so. It's much more absorbent than most prefold though!
@crazybabysittertwin I'm glad you liked it! I don't find myself using it because I'm not very comfortable using a prefold and snappi. I prefer my pockets. Great diaper though when I'm in a pinch!
@hablab7 - which pocket diaper do you prefer? there are so many out there now! i was kind of liking the idea of the econobums because you can re-use the outer until it gets soiled. with a pocket diaper, don't you need to change the entire diaper every time you change? you're way more of an expert than i am, so i'm very appreciative of your advice. thanx again.
