@thoughtwaretv Hey I like the track and it wasn't exacly easy to find xD It's not like it's on youtube, at least not this version (besides this video). Only found a free sample of it on track it down dot net.
If there is a God, him/she/it wouldn't be how the bible describes him/she/it.
As i have heard God gave us free will and created us in he/she/it's image, but creates a hell for when you do the wrong things by the bible. wtf? I say God and religion are two different things. Just my opinion.
Surely this couldn't be ALL chance? All this? Billions upon billions of planets, big and small, one containing intelligent life. 2% away from the sun and we'd freeze, 2% closer and we'd burn up. It was not by chance. It was created.
@Kzook mmmmmm nah, the fact that there are billions and billions of planets and only 1 has life seems to suggest it IS chance... if you were creating life you wouldn't need to make billions and billions of extraneous planets just to get life on one...

dude you just can't be sure i question this everyday is there a god if there is who would have made him if the big bang is right what made all of that i even think what if this universe is the size of a atom on a planet or star ect in a bigger universe the options are endless no one will ever know till they are dead and if there is no creator then we will never know
Assumptions: the strong force, an intra-quark force, is 10^38 times stronger than gravity; electromagnetism, an inter-quark force, is 10^36 times stronger than gravity; quark radius is 10^-16 m; most galactic gravitons come from quarks; Milky Way galaxy (typical spiral) is 100,000 ly in diameter (10^21 meters, 1 ly = 10^16 m).

I was teasing - asking how such majestic knowledge would help in down-to-earth reality (e.g. paying for the groceries). In fact it does help - by making any worry about groceries seem trivial, and inspiring motivation that can increase personal effort and earning etc. towards paying for the groceries.

All the while everything is exploding, crunching, banging, existing and not existing, and lookin real good doing it. We're a mad artists work of art.

We don't understand, but we are continuously learning a lot more about this mysterious thing we call reality and our Universe. We have tried to explain it in the past with little knowledge and great imagination, of course, and invented some of the greatest mythical gods and legends in history. But there is no evidence that everything was created by a god, much less that it could only possibly be created by a god.
And, I also wish I could say everything was just created perfect, but to do that I'd have to completely ignore most of the things that are wrong with this world. By that I'm not referring to just wrong that humanity has brought about, but primarily things that would sound out-right evil if the Universe was created by a god: natural abortions (babies being born with their hearts outside of their chest and many other horrible things from good parents), cancer, natural disasters, mass extinctions+

I watched this video a year ago and discovered trance music. That was pretty cool.
Anyway, the opening is 50 or so minutes into trancequility 21, can't tell you what the next part is, then the electronico part is 11 minutes into trancequility 19.
The rest of those tracks are also very good, I recommend them.
Took me a little while but I found it, it is the DJ Doboy Trancequility Volume 19. About 11 minutes and 23 seconds into that mix, you'll find that song you like. Enjoy my friend.
I don't believe anything (be it an object, an event or an idea) has to have an objective "reason". The "reason" behind anything that can exist or be pondered, comes to be only in a subjective experience, it happens, individually, in each of the minds that experiences it.
Since each individual experience of an event can vary greatly, a subjective mind's experience of an event can be unique and be quite different from that of another.
I don't think there is an innate reason for any event in the Universe. It is we, the subjective parts of the Universe, who can ponder and experience these event, thus subjectively, we provide a "reason" by reasoning an event. There can be an infinitely amount of reasons, when there are infinitely amounts of subjective experiences of any one event.
I believe everything that is extremely likely to happen in contrast to that which is extremely unlikely to happen, usually happens given enough time.
Upon reading Michio Kaku's book, he classed as a Type 0 Civilisation, a Type 1 being powered by a star, Type 2 by star clusters, and Type 3 by a whole galaxy. The proportional differences in energy consumption between a type 3 civilation and us, are greater than between all of human civilisation, and ant hills.
Sure it does have to do with transhumanism. It's about the next step in evolution. It's about overcoming our limitations. If a type 1 civilization is more advanced than us technologically to achieve such feats, then I think Halfdannn is right in sharing this knowledge. I for one enjoyed it.

Really amazing!! You feel so small before the scale of known universe. Can you imagine with the rest of it (I mean, the unknown part)? Only God knows it.
royce man its their size beside the earth it shows the freakin huge diffrence beetween us and earth and how fuckin nothingless we are standing besides w cephei... i personnaly think this is fascinating!
speechless.. just speechless...I feel sorry for anyone who looks up at night and is not utterly blown away at what they see. I went to a planetarium the other day that had a show similar to this video... It was more exilerating that any roller coaster i've riden, any mountain i've skied, heck, even sex... i was literally out of breath when i walked out. Great vid!! keep em coming!!
The beginning is almost at the end of Trancequility Megamix 21. The rest is a mix of the others. You can start by checking out djdoboy com, but they're also available on torrents across the Internet

they came up with all that star trek & battlestar galactica stuff for a reasoon. its a preview of how lifes gonna be if we ever take a break from fighting & fucking each other long enough to put our money together to build the equipment & vehicles that will take us to these planets & undiscovered galaxies.
I will. And you're welcome to reply too. BTW: If you think about it, in a way, the very atoms that formed these massive stars defied obedience to stagnation in space, they clustered and became massive collectives igniting, fusing and forming stars. After they did this, they themselves became a force to be reckoned with. Then it was them who were exerting massive gravitational forces on all of that which surrounded them, even "empty" space.
Eventually, it was them who created the very essence, the atoms, of which all life made.
Note: You were implying obedience to the laws of physics. Perhaps you believe them to be a deity of sorts? You do know you defy them every time you walk, don't you?
theonlyrealMugsy, why do that? share a limited aspect of your perspective only to insult those who question to know more of where you're coming from. Who exactly is your message intended for? YOU?
youtube limit-500 characters. I was just trying to draw the line between our behaviors and those things in nature. As a race, we haven't got it down yet. What I would have to say would involve a lot of "theological" pre-suppositional thought to a possible audience of people who are bent on moral independence & I don't think I'm up for the argument. My overspeak gear is not attached. Call Noam. I'm sure he's always up for it...
Well, I personally am interested in hearing your perspective, and not to pick a fight. Any theological presuppositional concepts you throw my way that I don't understand I'll be sure to look up. Unless of course, you believe your prespective requires a dose of focused experiences, the likes of which I've never had. In that case, I'd ask you if you've ever heard of the book titled "Under the banner of Heaven"?
It got told it wasn't big enough, because Eris is bigger and there are other things almost as big. So the definition of "planet" was changed so we wouldn't have about 14.
ok, can you imagine if all those starts actually were just put together like that. Side by side. Imagine how fucking crazy shit would get. Gravity, heat, radiation. Shit would just be turned upside down. Stars sucking into one another and fucking just being obliterated. YES IM HIGH.

That's a great question. I hope you find the answer.
Have you read about quantum fluctuations, virtual particles and the possibility of a Universe from Nothing?
Google a "A Universe from Nothing. by Alexei V. Filippenko and Jay M. Pasachoff"
There's a great book called Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku, that's a great read into some of the ideas being contemplated today.

Wow, someone in my class showed my whole class this video, but it was a little different, because at the end, it wrote
'Over 6,000,000 Suns could fit in W Cephei'
Everyone went 'WOAH!!'
This video is truly amazing :)

Really amazing!! You feel so small before the scale of known universe. Can you imagine with the rest of it (I mean, the unknown part)? Only God knows it.

who plays the techno music?
cloudwalker6 3 years ago
truely amazing. there's no way we'll ever understand the universe, because there's always the question "what next?"

earth seems so small :/
karwane1 3 years ago 3
...and yet it seems so big.
Relativity. What a powerful discovery.
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
That's because we ARE so small. Minute. Insignificant.
A tiny speck covered in scattered thought, and consciousness.
Our problems, so minute compared to the grand scheme of things.

Is the other planets after the sun real? :O

speechless.. just speechless...I feel sorry for anyone who looks up at night and is not utterly blown away at what they see. I went to a planetarium the other day that had a show similar to this video... It was more exilerating that any roller coaster i've riden, any mountain i've skied, heck, even sex... i was literally out of breath when i walked out. Great vid!! keep em coming!!

ppcollins01 3 years ago
A remix I did of Djdoboy's Trancequility Mega mixes.
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
Could you tell us exactly which songs they were? I searched but can't find them.
Thanks.
fortunne 3 years ago
Sure, already did. Check the comments :)
The beginning is almost at the end of Trancequility Megamix 21. The rest is a mix of the others. You can start by checking out djdoboy com, but they're also available on torrents across the Internet

At the moment, the era of MATERIALISM is keeping Humanity from reaching the stars, which is our ultimate destiny.

I'd say War is.

they came up with all that star trek & battlestar galactica stuff for a reasoon. its a preview of how lifes gonna be if we ever take a break from fighting & fucking each other long enough to put our money together to build the equipment & vehicles that will take us to these planets & undiscovered galaxies.
SocietysNitemare 3 years ago
I thought that was morpheus. It was cool how the music was layered on top of it, it kinda matched actually.

I just figured this out...
One helium atom is roughly equivalent in size compared to an adult human as that human is relative to My Cephei. (Largest Star Shown)
Great video.

Is that so? :-) Amazing! I love those thought experiments
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
What all these things have in common is "obedience". Gravitational laws are obeyed.
In order for us to exist, we must have it as well.
theonlyrealMugsy 3 years ago
I will obey the need for the Universe to Question itself.
I will obey our desire to strive for a world where it's every citizen can enjoy the benefits of scientific enlightenment and technological progress
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
We will disobey every single law of physics that attempts to keep us bound, in bondage and stagnated.
Gravity could not hold us from flying. Gravity could not keep us bound to this planet.
We will obey that which is for the good of mankind. Everything else will find itself obsolete and irrelevant.
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
I too, will obey the notion and remembrance that being cryptic with linear minded ones doesn't always pay. don't reply.
('L') ---
theonlyrealMugsy 3 years ago
I will. And you're welcome to reply too. BTW: If you think about it, in a way, the very atoms that formed these massive stars defied obedience to stagnation in space, they clustered and became massive collectives igniting, fusing and forming stars. After they did this, they themselves became a force to be reckoned with. Then it was them who were exerting massive gravitational forces on all of that which surrounded them, even "empty" space.
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
Eventually, it was them who created the very essence, the atoms, of which all life made.
Note: You were implying obedience to the laws of physics. Perhaps you believe them to be a deity of sorts? You do know you defy them every time you walk, don't you?
thoughtwaretv 3 years ago
theonlyrealMugsy, why do that? share a limited aspect of your perspective only to insult those who question to know more of where you're coming from. Who exactly is your message intended for? YOU?
seplrm 3 years ago
Or those who obey?
seplrm 3 years ago
youtube limit-500 characters. Call Noam. I'm sure he's always up for it...
sorry if you're insulted. not my intention.
theonlyrealMugsy 3 years ago
Well, I personally am interested in hearing your perspective, and not to pick a fight. Any theological presuppositional concepts you throw my way that I don't understand I'll be sure to look up. Unless of course, you believe your prespective requires a dose of focused experiences, the likes of which I've never had. In that case, I'd ask you if you've ever heard of the book titled "Under the banner of Heaven"?

This video blew me away. It's amazing to see there are other things out there that big.

What about the planets Uranus (LOL) and Pluto?
WERE R THEY
gingy717 4 years ago
Pluto's a planetoid now.
Jordarnm 4 years ago 3
What does that mean. It aint a real planet?
Thats bulshit pluto is a real planet with a moon.
gingy717 4 years ago
It got told it wasn't big enough, because Eris is bigger and there are other things almost as big. So the definition of "planet" was changed so we wouldn't have about 14.
Jordarnm 4 years ago 2
Ok. That sucks. Why didnt they just have 14 planets. That would be awsome. Does that mean there r only 8 planets in our solar system now?
