When stone cold fought DX alone and the corporation alone, his "never say die" attitude made him the badass he became.

@illad98 and also, it was done right when austin fought dx... remember the buildup, how many times did austin beat up both hhh and hbk? i don't recall any. they had him beat up hunter until shawn got there; then, they both were too much for him. that made the wm14 match so hyped... he finally got the better of shawn. meanwhile in wcw, sting was beating up 20 guys at a time on nitro and then they expected the fans to believe that he should have trouble wrestling one at a ppv.

@drvn8 exactly. sting lost a lot of my respect when they had him destroy all 80 members of NwO in 2min, fight Hogan for like 30min in a PPV, get beat down by Hogan for 29 & 1/2 of those 30min, then win off one move. TNA has some extraordinary talent and has always had potential to compete with WWE, but the writers (especially Russo) are so stupid in making stories and they're just trying to copy WWE instead of maybe doing what made WWE hot in the 90s. People really miss the 90s WWF.
