Mesmerising dance, great video quality. I prefer one-camera shots - most videos are spoiled by Smart Alec editing, which can be most distracting.

Great job on the video Rob! I was there (great show!), and this is probably the best quality video I've seen of Tempest, though nothing beats experiencing her live. This woman can possess an entire audience with her eyes and this particular piece was breathtaking!

She should do improv more often. It is the best I have seen her dance.

FYI - she does do mostly improv, both to live and recorded music, and I think most of her videos on here make that distinction if you read the info. I believe that makes her a rarity in her genre, b/c very few big name gothic dancers perform improv (especially to live music!) and what also makes her different from them is that she DOES clearly continue to grow as a dancer and an artist, which can be seen in the 5-6 years of videos you can see on youtube. Pretty cool!

I'd be interested in feedback -- take note on the audio -- this is live.. the only two things you hear are the guitar and Tempest's costume..

to me.. they are both part of the music...

do you find her costume jinglies add, or take away.. from the video retelling of the performance (I intentionally turned up the jinglies for the DVD mix)?
