It's that every dollar that is loaned to the U.S. by the "federal" reserve is loaned with so much interest that every dollar the U.S. treasury department prints is not worth an actual "dollar". The internet makes democratic de-centralized organization possible. Imagine a state that employees everyone and produces what people order online. Think of it as a collective commons for all consumer goods, where information is shared freely. People design what they want, the winning designs get made. The internet makes it possible.

Well its a great rant. Unfortunately he is as right as he is wrong. Money is a medium for exchange. Money is a measurement of wealth. It doesn't matter if you print the money, mine the money, grow the money. Money only has a notional value in what somebody else will give you for it.
So money is a measurement of purchasing power. Just like inches are a measurement of the length of something. If you go back to a gold standard when the price of gold rises it will cause massive inflation.
This is the one demand we should seek. However, it needs to be made without a political face backing it, like Ron Paul. The reason is that most people who hear republican or democrat (kusinich) in a sentence immediately run for the fences. We need to start our own camp that seeks to educate people on this issue WITHOUT imposing other political ideas on them.

The problem is not the U.S. treasury department "printing" too much money. It's that every dollar that is loaned to the U.S. by the "federal" reserve is loaned with so much interest that every dollar the U.S. treasury department prints is not worth an actual "dollar". The Federal reserve is the culprit. It's forced the country into debt and wants to keep it there.

@thisiswheniexit I completely agree, I wanted to chop down many of the arguments he made, but what's the point.His statement on the fractional reserve system is just wrong (they can't lend out 9X the value of the deposit). Additionally, wtf will a gold standard do? Today we want internet, communications, gasoline, etc., not gold.
@fsuking they don't make it out of "thin air", debt is issued to a buyer, the net change is zero. Assets and liab. change by equal amounts.

Well its a great rant. Unfortunately he is as right as he is wrong. Money is a medium for exchange. Money is a measurement of wealth. It doesn't matter if you print the money, mine the money, grow the money. Money only has a notional value in what somebody else will give you for it.
So money is a measurement of purchasing power. Just like inches are a measurement of the length of something. If you go back to a gold standard when the price of gold rises it will cause massive inflation.

The reason is that most people who hear republican or democrat (kusinich) in a sentence immediately run for the fences. @mrbinga - A more realistic figure would be $40 a week versus $520 a week in which Individual A is a Chinese worker getting paid an average rate of $1 an hour and the US worker is getting paid an average rate of $13 an hour. Even with those figures I STILL would prefer those jobs go to U.S. workers. Why? Because it's the American thing to do. My belief is if you export one single job outside the U.S. then you forfeit all tax deductions. Don't like it? Leave the USA and do business in China.
