@dnkmerman There is a freeware synth also that shouldn't be underestimated and that is Synth1, do a search for it here on youtube and you can hear it is really nice. There is some nice clips also where a guy do tutorials, it's a nice synth to actually learn programming analog synthesizer. Otherwise V-station is also a nice synth but a little more complex to go around for a beginner. Synth1 is in one of the guys descriptions for download, I hink the one with rank1 airwave demo.
