I'm from Leicester and I HAVE to disagree. My motorbike got nicked and it was confiscated, but because the thieves changed the plastics to orange and removed the serial numbers I could never prove it was my bike, so they crushed it EVEN though I wasn't riding it and I never rode it illegal.

The police confiscated it. The thieves ran off onto some fields and they had to stay with the bike so no one else took it. They had changed the plastics to another colour and removed the serial numbers, so I couldn't prove it was mine, but I recognised the engine and exhaust.
