My youngest kitty is named Geisha for a reason. I found her when she was merely 3 weeks old and was so awestruck by her beauty, there was no name more befitting. I think of these beautiful girls in their makeup, kimono, and their honor....it brings tears to my eyes. This music is a tribute to their wonderful culture!

@Teruame Yeah, I'm pretty sure everything from Japan was originally from China to begin with. Both are beautiful and interesting cultures! I have spent the last few years studying the Shinto "religion" and I'm fairly certain that it is indigenous to Japan only; the mythology of the Japanese people. One of these days I'll get it all straight but not any time soon!!! Many blessings!

I like the 12 Girl Band version maybe more than Enya's version. Enya is from Donegal ( My father grew up there). She is a friend of the movie "Titanic" composer James Horner and some people say that they influence each other. The art work also makes this video probably the best version of this song on Youtube.

i think you are mentioning about RACISTS?...i like this videos because i take inspirations from them too draw a mainland chinese girl whom until now, for almost a year, her beauty "troubles" me. she had 2 of my original copies (and there are lots of illustrations of her at my home) and she "pays" them with a "child-like" smile (and i think that's too much for just a piece of paper with colors and lines). she's so cute.
