BTW, I tried the ipecac before, Wow! If that doesn't get one to puke, I don't know what will! Nasty tasting stuff though! Yuck! If there was an emetic out there (other than eating at McDonald's) that does not have a taste to it, would be much better!

@middy444 I work in an ER and I have seen quite a few people who took ipecac, and not all of them survived. Most of them were first time users who got bored and thought it would be funny to use. Even if you feel ok afterward, you are still causing damage- much much more than "normal" vomiting caused by the flu, etc. It causes muscles spasms that can stop your heart and affect your breathing. Ipecac is a poison. It is so dangerous that most companies have taken it off the market.
