  • I joined colorguard at lugo this year :D

  • @GabrielaaSGTC make lugo good again! they have been sucking since my junior year -___-

  • don't be afraid of the saber

  • o my god how did this video get so many views lol. OMG I HAD HORRIBLE TECHNIQUE BACK THEN! i have gotten so much better lol :p

  • Dude in winterguard we had to dova six and I didn't have gloves after a while your hands go numb honestly

  • @Jamiemasters94 we dont wear gloves anymore.

  • OMG. that girl with the blue shirt. how was she able to toss and catch that sabre without gloves?! i can't even do that with a triple cause i'm so scared! LOL.

  • @thatpinaychiki try doing blade 6's without gloves

  • If that was my saber, that bitch wouldn't be alive that's for sure. Lol just kidding, but I would be really mad. xD

  • Damn, I'm glad that didn't happen to me ;) Band member and can toss a 6 on rifle ;)

  • @urlaughingatnothing with technique? and on something bigger than a 36?

  • @musicmakr123 Actually yes. :) Well now im in colorguard :) But yeah...

  • @urlaughingatnothing cool beans! what colorguard ? :)

  • wow i love the way u guys treated that sabre

u couldnt atleast make a grab for it or slowdown its rotations

wow u guys treat ur equipment very poorly

  • wow, that's some way of treating your sabre .. if that were mine ...boyyyy it would not be funny!

  • Oh No! If that would have been my sabre I would have DIED! I love my sabre more than I could ever love a human infant!

  • One thing that I have to say, even though this is extremely cool, is that you're tossing a sabre like a rifle. You're pushing it up when you should flick your hand more... You should also refrain from tossing like that especially if you can't catch it. Those sabre blades are extremely expensive.

  • @TKDGUARD Different techniques from different instructors for different guards. Some ask to push and some ask to wrist it.

  • @musicmakr123 Judges over here make it known that wrist is the way to go with Sabre. These judges come from everywhere. Pushing and following through with the Sabre during release are two completely different things.

  • Parades would be so much more fun to watch if the Drum Majors would spin like at 3:31 !!!

  • You should do guard!!!

  • @ckermit09 i hope you are NOT talking about me....the instructors are on my neck now. even though i told them no, they insist i should do winterguard cuz i can toss an 8. pssh

  • @musicmakr123 I agree with your instructors... you totally need to do guard!!!

  • @ckermit09 I ended up doing guard :P

  • Haha, my name is also Cheyenne, and I have to say...I'm very entertained by this Cheyenne. Epic fail. ;]

  • ye all band peeps got nothing on us guardians!!!

  • Quick question. I have NEVER seen that thing you call a mace. And ur not in guard but ur spinning that thing like a flag. what ARE you? plz reply it's gunna bug me forever if i don't figure this out.

  • @MusicFreak6893 child you must be deprived. it is the oldest piece of equipment that exists. During parades, Drum Majors may use military batons or maces to "beat time" to a march as they lead their band.

  • @musicmakr123 huh. never new that. what state r u from (just trying to figure our if it's a regional thing since i've never seen them here in Texas)?

  • @MusicFreak6893 southern california. maces are world -wide. they originated in europe among kings. it was a small club used for hitting people or represinting high-ranking. over-time it developed into today's mace. there's alot of mace types. look for artymac for more info.

  • @musicmakr123 huh. interesting. tanx for teh info! :)

  • @musicmakr123

Yeah, on the east coast, the only people who use those are ghetto wanna-be marching bands. lol. All the serious and competitive marching bands here would probably laugh at it.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY hmm that's weird. here in the west coast, parade is a Big thing for traditional bands. the maces/military batons are not ghetto and are taken seriously by Drum Majors who compete either in parade or L-Pattern.

  • @musicmakr123

Isn't it funny how bands differ across the country? We really don't do parades around here. I mean a few, but nothing major, but we honestly would never actually use those. I'm not trying to take away from the meaning of it, but it's just funny how different things can be across the country.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY yup. i think its coool. but ya. if u wanna see what the REAL use for a mace is, go look @ our parade performance videos. Don Lugo @ Chino Review or Arcadia are good videos :D

  • @MusicFreak6893 a mace is used mostly by drum majors....

  • haha if i was there i woulda made you run laps lol

  • That's how people get aids, hun....

And you have absoluely no respect for your equipment.

    Terrible.

  • I did the same thing to my finger a staple was sticking out the butt of the riffle and sliced it open it hurt so bad

  • Please, never do that to a King again.

  • omg i love the mace, i wish our drum majors used them.......i'm surprised your sabre wasn't broken after that

  • wow! he reeaaallllyyyy looks like this kid Will Henry from my school!! even sounds just like him...

  • if our coach ever saw us treating our equipment like tht oh god wed literally b dead no joke... =/ not nice way to treak some thing tht cost like $110

  • @gotcolorguard 210 just for a heads up :P

  • No respect for your equipment.

  • yikes, question, did the blade end up bent after that, and was it a king sabre?

  • actually, nothing happened to that blade. and yes, it is a 39' king sabre.

  • at like 0:37 she needs to lower her saber and bring the point down a little lower

  • The girl tossing at 1:24 needs to watch a release point so that the catcher has a chance at catching it.

  • hey ur from don lugo? i recognize the pool deck fence

  • yup/ we are from don lugo!

  • I cried a little for that poor sabre.

  • it really hurts me to watch this happen with a king sabre.

  • @lilquiz97 i literally cringed throughout the whole video

  • wow you guys use gloves my guard doesnt u gloves

  • well they are 39" king sabres...those things hurt when tossing 5's and 6s...

  • YES THEY DO!

  • yes we do, our team is state champs, we were just messing around, and we werent using technique.

  • and that is how people get hurt..

  • i dont spin..the other two do...well i spin mace....but thats different....

  • uhm excuse you cant people just ever have fun? yes ofcourse i spin!?!?! and were state champions as a matter of fact, i havent seen any videos from YOU? how do i even know YOU spin huh? maybe your just talking froom your butt who knows but i really dont care what you have to say

  • This guy wasjust trying to help you. Calm down

  • 2:02

omg i am surprized that sabre didnt break hitting that wall!!

    haha this is cool!!

  • that poor, poor sabre.

  • that day was my birthday:]

oh and i've never seen one of those stick things with the ball at the end before, idk...

i thought when you went in slow mo, the sound the sabre makes is hilarious!!!

  • Oh..the stick thing is a drum major mace....its pretty much an overgrown baton. they are the equivalent of a flag in guard world

  • oh, i see, i've never really marched before, so i didn't know...

  • lol!! i love this one XD slow-mo is the best part :D lol

  • lol i love it when it slows down.. me and cheyenne couldnt stop laughing...

and me and you sound so dumb XD
