I've gotten to ep 15, and I gotta say, that I consider the ED, mainly the part where the song escalates and camera rotationally zoomes on Yang and Julian, to be one of the MOST epic moments so far. I'm not saying that the series itself isn't totally majestic, exceptional and unique, I'm just saying that the first ED is THAT epic.
Apparently the creators thought so too, as the instrumental ver of the theme was already used in climaxes of at least 2 episodes(6, 14).
It's heroic, manly and honest about the nature of men. I also feel disappointed for not being half of these people are, well, nor everyone can be heroes, nor everyone have the wealth of spirit to be.
Very clever serie.
Should I settle for being a bit heroic too or this will hurt too much?
@KogashiwaKai It's not hard to figure out who will die in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, there aren't much plot twists. Rather, it's the "why" and "how" that's so interesting.
I just started watching this anime. I am convinced it's probably the best space opera anime I've ever seen. The characters are amazing, especially Wangli.
