Okay, stupid question time. How did Luke and Lorelai not meet sooner? I know that she started working at the Independence Inn when Rory was just a baby. Did she live at home for a while then?

@waterlily85 I think it's the consistency issue again. There's one episode where Luke says he's known Rory since she was a toddler, but if you do the math it seems that he's known her since she was ten or so.
To answer your question, Lorelai lived in a shack on the premises of the Independence Inn for awhile before moving into her current house. She and Rory refer to it as "the crap shack".

Yeah I Love Luke & Lorelai the series is having reruns it on Season 3 right now but Luke & Lorelai dont start dating until the end of 4 which is september so im planning on staying home from school to watch it twice the day before and the day i stay home.Shhhh... don't tell!
